S65 Upgrade to Carbon Ceramic Brakes?




When I began shopping for a used S-Class a couple years ago it was baffling that the majority of 2-5 year old cars came few options. I wanted a well optioned used car. But the fact that resale and residual is based on MSRP without all the options means those options are super expensive if you only plan to own the car for 2-4 years. I came to realize that's the reason, which I totally understand.
Cars that showed up at the dealer as part of the allocation arrived with iron brakes.


after some research, it appears that the only other thing I need to switch is the front backing plates. The rears have the same part numbers.
possibly the same set one of you have spoken about on this thread. I’ll update with pics after install.
