Anyone know where I can find a set of the chrome lower grill and flicks of a S65 (circled in red in the photo)? I love the look and really want it for my 16 S63. I've tried ebay and all I've found are just pieces, either just the center, a single flick, etc. Not a full set. Would it just be easier to get a S65 VIN and buy the parts from the dealership? TIA!!
You can also contact Mercteil, whose prices will be cheaper than your dealership, but you're still looking at a couple thousand ... parts even chromed plastic from a S65 will have the S65 tax
A better move would be to find a good body shop and have them remove the grilles and paint them. Will probably be a lot cheaper...
Removing them from a car is a fool’s errand. Many of the plastic tabs used to mount the grilles will break at the slightest provocation. The broken tabs will make reassembly that much more of a PITA as you get to go fishing for them.
S65 tax is real for these and will $ting.
Center bottom grille is the grille plastic and the horizontal piece of chrome. MB is making a fortune on this ish.
