7 year old car with 75K miles, that is a big risk, especially with the exhaust mod as that typically means it was probably beat on for a good portion of it's life. If you are not a mechanic the best thing you can do is save up as much money as you can as this car could eat you alive financially if you don't want to wrench on it. this is the prime age and miles for things like airmatic issues, motor mounts and lots of suspension components. I believe the M157 had issues with bore scoring and oil in the cam adjuster harnesses if I recall.
