2015 s63 sedan- Hit the gas but my car doesn’t move when first turning on.
Hey everyone hope all is well. I have purchased a 2015 s63 sedan over a year ago from original owner. It has always been maintained by Mercedes and it has a clean car fax. The car has about 130k miles on it now but my question to you guys is that when I first start my car I let it warm up a little before driving and once I shift my car into drive I’d hit the gas to start moving and I see and hear the the car revving but it moves very slow until it catches up. This only happens on the start for about 1-2 minutes and then the car is fine. Is this something I should be worried about? I am always up-to-date with my oil changes and I even changed my transmission oil about six months ago. Any information would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

Transmission is finicky like that when cold, it takes a little while for it to warm up. Also, when you start the car default in comfort mode you are moving from second gear not first which adds to the hesitation. You’ll notice the same hesitation in reverse also when running cold.
