Sensor part number?

I was changing out the coil pack yesterday and noticed one of the sensor on the engine had oil in it. I had to unplug it to gain access to the coil pack screw and saw oil in it. It is located near the oil fill cap. Does anybody know what this sensor is and the part number?

Thank you!

you'll have to reconfirm this information, looks like the camshaft position sensor.

Thank you! That’s what it looks like. The part number for my car, 2015 S63, is 276905100.

If there isn't a fault with the sensor, you can spray both ends of it with electronics cleaner, install pigtails and reinstall. Im not sure if the "new" sensors are free of the oil creep condition. I have an s63 also and have used the below kit on it and my wife's gle580

That is a great idea. I haven't seen fault code for the sensors, just lots of oil in the connector. The O-rings are probably bad on all. I just bought 4 cam sensors from Mercedes online, but did not buy the magnetic sensors. Hoping those are good since there was no leak underneath them.
Thanks again for your help.

I've only really seen posts about the cam sensors weeping oil and not the magnetic sensors so I wouldnt worry about it. I only had one or two cam sensors with oil but given there were no issues aside from the oil I just cleaned and added the extensions. The magnetic solenoids I added just as extra insurance for a few bucks.
