Tried searching, quick question regarding oil wicking up harness.
New to me M157 2016 s63. Going through and completing all the regular maintenance. All of the cam solenoids were leaking. I cleaned the harness side and replaced with new solenoids. I’ll do the magnets next, I installed the pigtails on the magnets for the time being. Do I need to do anything else to prevent oil wicking? I checked the ecu side and no oil at that end. Just want to prevent.

The oil pump solenoid is also known to leak into the wiring harness. I assume you know the other benefits to disconnecting this part, if not here is some light reading:

I agree with the oil pump solenoid part as well.

this part throws a cel when doing it on s63. I’m going to talk with benzninja about options
