Benz saved me
The Benz, saved me when a Oil tanker truck hammered me from the rear. I know the reason I walked away was because I was in a Mercedes. I'm thankfull I was in a benz

My car was a Diamond Blue Metallic W124; when I sold it outright to someone three months ago it had 239,000 miles on it and was still a great, every-day, drive-to-work runner.
About five years ago my wife drove it to work while her Audi was in the shop. She ran a stopsign and a Toyota or Chevy (can't remember which) hit her broadside the passenger door and midsection.
The smaller car was a mess; totaled.
The Benz suffered a badly crushed door and lost its glass on the passenger side. The impact was hard enough that it cracked the plastic woodgrain insert around the gearselect and the seatbelt runners on both sides of the passenger-side seat.
But the driver was safe; shaken, but safe.
The body shop guys fixed my car. Thank God for Mercedes Benz.
