Repair manual scam

Like most of you. I love cars. I have a 2002 E320. The joy and feeling free of driving a car (in some cars) is immense to me. I also like to know the details of the car I own. That got me to think of a repair manual. The online auto repair manual seller "factorymanuals.net" got me with their advertisement of auto repair manual download. I like the idea of having the repair manual downloaded into my PC. What I got was a link to a file storage site that requires signup and future monthly fee charge to view the manual. I didn't sign-up; instead I made complaints to the seller and PayPal (paid with my PayPal account). The seller argued and lied fiercely. To my surprise, PayPal sided with the seller. I lost money and no repair manual. Is that fair/right? No, of course not. I got scammed. Please beware.
