I wish it was more like the concept which was staggering. There’s something weird to my eye about this GT4, and I really don’t like the fixed spoiler. It looks way too tacky. But I bet the car dynamically will be awesome. Bring on the hybrid version.

No fixed spoiler here. It’s just deployed.
I loke it. Way more progressive than the boring E class 213

I agree. Something looks off. It looks like a door stop or the side of a lemon.

He he... Never heard anyone call the E63s boring. But I suppose you can't tell from just looking at the tail lights
Just kidding of course. The only thing wrong with the car is the name but this was designed to pull Panamera buyers away from Porsche. I like the look and the interior is more unique. Steering wheel is cool and the extra power and rear wheel steering will be welcome. I wonder how firm the suspension is on this one.
I like this better than the launch edition since that one has a fixed spoiler. Don't care for that.
Thanks for your input. I actually do like the design as mentioned, I was looking for something fast that will seat 4 comfortably. For me, it’ll now come down to its performance. I am not hoping it’ll perform the same as the GT/GTS(R), but if it’s faster than the SL63/S63 and even the W213 E63s, it’ll be worth my while.
I’m in my mid 40s and have driven and read that the GT 2 doors line up are somewhat a pain in the butt to get in, out of and not really suitable as a dd.
Im really looking for something that’ll beat my SL63 and S63 and of course the famous W213 E63s off the line and am hoping this is my answer with the GT4 to replace my SL63. This could be my calling. Will wait to see the performance data as well as the final release design.
I dont know what to think from those pics; I need more angles but Im not 100% all in yet.
Its a weird blend of a CLS sprinkled with some some RS7 flakes (as one poster mentioned-RS7). Ill say this, its not boring looking and clearly differentiates itself from the E/S/C which, from me, says a lot since I own a boring W213 E63S
How do you like the E63s? I’m looking for a comfortable daily driver with ***** . The GTS is fun but hardly a daily driver. I don’t like taking it to shopping center, hair cutters, post office etc. i relegate that to an SUV . I think the E63s would blend in yet be powerful enough for the occasional spirited drive .

I really enjoy my car but its not the most comfortable ride out there- it will be stiff like our GTS's. If you have good roads or just enjoy a flat, no yaw, well planted sedan, then its mighty impressive with the twin scroll turbos and 603 hp. Its easily faster than a stock GTS from a dig with AWD and even performs incredibly well on the track (see C&D Lightning Lap results- fastest sedan ever tested). It would definitely work for those needs you mentioned: malls, bank, bars, errands and just freeway GT cruising at higher speeds. Its a rapid machine no doubt and for real world use its more useful than the GTS. I think I mentioned this in another comparo thread but the E63S does more things in the GTS world than the GTS does in the E63S world: traffic, awd, 4 doors, functionality, etc.
