AMG GT63s Yesterday at the track this is the 2nd time around
AMG GT63s Yesterday at the track this is the 2nd time around. I wore out the front tires way too fast! For more experienced track drivers need tips for getting maximum performance so I don't go through tires and brakes too fast. Also, I need to know more in race settings traction no traction, etc?
Some tips I received yesterday... 1- After stopping do not use the parking brakes they still are too hot and pads melt in the disc. 2- adjust the cambers to -3 in the front -2 in the rear for tire longer life.
Tips please, let's the conversation begins...

Definitely do a cool down lap or two and keep the parking brake off when stopping! Save the front tires.....might be braking too late and pushing the gas too hard getting out of the corners. Make sure your wheel is straight as possible when mashing the gas out of the corners, slow in fast out!
