AMG GT63 High Flow Air Filters
Drop in high flow air filters are now available. Direct replacement for OEM factory ones.
Deep pleats in the double-layered cotton create a 10-15% increase in filtration surface. This increase allows a greater volume of air to move more freely into your engine cylinders while maintaining superior filtration. Our specially designed cotton filter traps particles as small as 5 microns.Steel wire mesh encases the cotton filter, providing strength and dent resistance so you can be sure your Green High Performance Air Filter will work under the toughest conditions
Other filters use a simple pressure molded injection process to bond the perimeter rubber to the interior components. That method saves manufacturing time, but in the process, a considerable amount of rubber can seep onto the filtering surface. This can restrict airflow as much as 25%. we use a time-consuming and costlier 4 step production process which virtually eliminates seepage and maintains maximum airflow through the filter.
Green Filter USA filters come pre-treated with a specially formulated dirt trapping oil. This oil creates a positive magnetic charge, or ionic bond, with the filters stainless steel mesh. The positive charge attracts the negatively charged dust particles entering the filter, causing them to cling to the steel mesh and allowing the cotton to remain clear for maximum airflow.

I swear we must have been typing at the exact same time. I just posted a DIY thread on a filter swap. There is no way guy got the filters out of the airbox without stripping the bottom screws (see your pic) without removing the airbox.
