Carbon8, I am right there with you. My 2020 GT63 has been sitting at the VPC since the second week of October (ordered in July). At first I was told there would be a short wait to for it to be released. Now I have been told everything from Nov 15-Dec 1st (hopefully) but later in December is a possibility. I emailed MBZ and they replied with “Late Q4.” I have been checking the California Air Resource Board and EPA as suggested in other posts. Our cars have not passed certification yet. I have noticed an approximately 2 week delay from the certification date to when it is posted online though.
Basically, I am hoping for November but am not holding my breath.
Yeah I’m doubtful it will happen this month. And at this point in WNY is going into the garage anyways. Just seems very delayed. Especially since nothing has changed besides roof options from 19-20 model years.

It does seem delayed. My sales guy is super on the ball and was not expecting it this late when I ordered it. I think it comes down to inventory on the lots. I will let you know if I hear anything! PS. I am kicking myself I did not go with the pano roof.

I opted for the '20 almost solely to get the fixed panoramic roof-- struck me as kind of dark and stark back there otherwise.
My GT63 is getting on a boat this week, just found out today-- sounds like it'll probably arrive very soon after they are allowed to be released in my case.

JonDiamond...Yeah, thanks for rubbing it in. Damn, I knew I should have done the pano roof! At the time I thinking that I wanted a sunroof. I had the pano roof that retracts on my '17 S63 and it absolutely made the interior feel much bigger. I agree the interior of the car can feel dark with black leather. I went out on a limb and choose the Saddle Brown (Selenite Grey Magno exterior) without being able to see it in person. I am a little worried as its one of those colors that could be really nice or just a sea of brown/orange.
My car was built on 8/29, shipped on 9/7 and made it to the Long Beach VPC on 10/14. I sincerely hope you get yours as soon as it arrives. If not the rest of us will be super pissed off by then. I am staying positive that it will be released this month.

Didn't mean to-- I swear! And, I think the operating sunroof vs. fixed pano roof is a total wash depending on priorities. My other car is a convertible, so, in way, that influenced my personal choice-- nice enough to get some air? Get a lot more of it Otherwise, I might have preferred the sunroof, maybe.

I think that will turn out to be a great choice , I think that quilted look (whatever it's properly called,) looks fantastic.
I went with auburn brown-black, which I -did- see in person and wasn't overly blown way with, really, but wanted to go lighter than the various blacks, etc. Graphite grey exterior.

The auburn was going to be my second choice. FYI I have been checking the California Air Resource Board site daily to check if our car has passed certification. I have seen on other threads that as soon as a car showed up cleared the model year was released. I update everyone if I see it on there. Have fun tracking your ship on the way to your VPC.
Pano roof was a great option to be added, have one in my truck and it just makes everything appear more comfortable and open and since I don't ever open the one in my truck the fact its just a roof means the headliner can be higher and it can be bigger so I am glad it was available.
Other than that though I would have gotten a 19, but my options where all pretty much have to have when spending this type of money and it seems none were available with this configuration.
I was pretty bummed on the MT review, I feel the car deserved more of a review it just sounded like they didn't put much time into actually reviewing it.

I just spoke to my SA. My car is will be here in 3-4 days! With my luck I will get it the day before Thanksgiving. Then it will sit in the garage on Turkey day as I won't be able to drive it until the PPF and ceramic is done. First world problems!
Yup, I have my guy go to the dealer to do delivery prep before I accept the car just to make sure their is no damage etc... but then he comes and does ceramic coating in my back garage.

Phenomenal! Its fun watching it on the boat. I found it incredible how many ships were running at one time world wide.
I got a call today that my car is in a covered transport and heading to the dealership. It will be here tomorrow! I may not get it until Sunday depending on what time is shows up on Saturday.

These are not the best pics. It was dark by the time I got out of the dealership. The interior is WAY nice nicer than I hoped for. The saddle brown is difficult to photograph. It looks orange in the photos. It’s much more of a deep color in person.
The only bummer was when I got home I noticed the gloss black rear spoiler was really scratched up. They are going to try and buff it out or replace it if it’s not perfect.

Yes got it home tonight. Put about 50 miles on it. Love the car.
Couple things I’m disappointed in though
1) Fixed panoramic roof still only has two small holes with shades to view through. I thought it would be more like the Tesla roofs
2) Might have to swap out the steering wheel, I got the CF wheel, because I got a heated wheel so it was that or pure leather. My hands seem to sit on the CF more than I thought and it’s hard and cold. Will look for a full alcantara wheel.
3 Driver seat position, wish I could lower it more. Feel like I sit to high up in the car.
