2020 GT 63 released and arrived last Saturday
After a 4 month wait my 2020 GT63 arrived last Saturday. I just got it back tonight after: 50% tint all around (it looks much lighter in the photo. I may go 35%), buffing the rear wing which came scratched, Ceramic Pro and PPF on the high impact areas. I did not choose the night package but was pleasantly surprised when side skirts and rear bumper flicks came in gloss black. I am very happy with the Saddle Brown. In photos the leather looks more orange so I was worried. It actually is a much deeper brown in person. I wish MBZ allowed the steering wheel AMG Drive Unit buttons with the warmth and comfort package. I came with 50 miles so I have a while to go before the 1000 miles break-in is over!

congrats! How did you get the night package with the obsidian? Every time I select that combo on the website, it doesn't allow the night package on the glass black exterior

yes I did and they offered to repaint it don’t waste your time it came out to be the exact same the paint code matches when they test it but I’m thinking it’s because of the bumpers, side skirts and even my spoiler is plastic and the body is metal. I’m going to be getting it painted by someone else who said you need to tint the paint for it to match if you just run off the color code it will match on the machine but not match when you see it in person sucks spend so much money and it doesn’t match

I actually don’t know why the car showed up like it did and was VERY pleasantly surprised. The only options I selected for the exterior was the Selenite gray magno and the aero kit. I thought because I did not choose the night package the slide door sills would be body color. I also did not think the rear flicks (on the sides of the bumper) would have the gloss black accent pieces. I had actually priced out ordering these parts from a dealer in Europe (I’m in California) and was going to add them later.
I two best parts I added to the car was a ODB2 module from EBay to permanently shut off the Eco start stop and a Renntech exhaust valve control to open the valves all the time.
