PUDDLE LIGHTS

Hello there, I have seen a lot of GT63s out there with a nice AMG mirror puddle light, I just noticed on mine ( 20202 ) that they don't light up 🤷🏻‍♂️ Could they be turned off in the car system ? or may be not all models came with this feature ? as far as I know my car came with all the bells and whistles ( except Ceramic brakes ), has anyone had this issue ?

any advice will be well received.

Thanx

I don't have a 63, but on my AMG GT, the AMG puddle lights only come on when I either unlock the car using the FOB, or unlock the car using the door handle sensor. I also think (but not sure) it has to be dark outside where the dash light sensor is not seeing light. I also have headlights set to ATUO, but don't know if that matters.

The puddle lights do NOT light up simply opening or closing an unlocked car, and I've noticed, if they're on and you lock the car they extinguish pretty quickly, I think BC the AMG light gets wrapped onto the door panel when the mirrors fold closed.

So, check using your fob unlock in the dark.
