My GT63 was finally loaded on a ship and is on the Atlantic now. Should be stateside in early Jan.

Just got an update from my dealership, I have a VIN assigned but my production date still says 1/20/23. He thinks it has been built, but awaiting a part or something to finish it. Trying to get more information, weird times!

 

A VIN is a good step! Hopefully it is further along and you don’t have the wait I did after it was built.

 

Update on mine - still holding to the delayed production date of 1/31 but it now has a proper MSRP!

I received a great update today. Production date for my 63S was set for February 6th and should be delivered late March. I'll be in Germany early March visiting family and stopping at the Sindelfingen factory. My car should be at the docks or on its way already when I'm there but still should be great to see.

 

I’ll be in Germany at the end of the month, have the tour scheduled at Affalterbach on Jan 25th. Unfortunately Sindelfingen not available until the earliest 31 January I’ve been told. Hope to get some good news on my car next week.

 

Just got the update today, car was produced on Jan 11th. Currently awaiting transportation by sea to Long Beach, so 4-6 weeks baring any other delays 🤞

I'm happy to see your build is staying true to the recent date they gave you. It's giving us all hope it'll stay on track.

 

Thanks guys..BTW I just plugged my VIN into the Mercedes Me app and it recognizes my car. Maybe I will be able to track it.

 

I had to wait for the dealer to fully deliver the car to me in the app before I could see anything (besides it saying it was pending authorization) - also for it to update, you would have to remote start the car and then turn it off (I did this with my GLS63 when it was being transported from Iowa to my state).

Latest PDF uploaded to first post. Most pricing is all there now. Still no E-Performance model. Probably delayed to the 2024 model year at this point.

 

My GT has been in Brunswick at the VPC since 1/3 - my dealer said it won’t depart the VPC until early April now.

Back in 2018 my 2019 SL450 sat at the port from June-September of 2018 and my 2019 E450 sat at the port from July-October of 2018.
