Low Coolant Light?

Hi! Hoping someone can help. This is the low coolant level correct? I’ve checked my temp gauge and car is not overheating. Car is fairly new with 34k miles on and I’ve owned it for 3 months now. Could this just be due to weather? Is it safe to drive for a bit?

*Have no idea if my car is that dusty or if that’s my phone 🙈

If it’s super cold out I bet it’s weather related. Top up the expansion tank if it’s below the ‘Top/Full’ mark and see if it recurs.

If you have the v8 engine there is a second coolant reservoir under the engine cover near where the dual scroll turbos are. My GLS63 has the same engine and I was getting that light for a few months with everything looking normal with the main reservoir until I found the second one. I topped that one off and it’s never come back on.

edit - just saw you have a GT43 - so not the V8. So my advice isn’t very useful unless there is a secondary reservoir in that engine as well.
