Don’t buy a 2023

Don’t buy a 2023
I recently signed paperwork for an out of state purchase. But the car hasn’t even been delivered yet and already there are problems. The window sticker says my car has the night package. But according to the pics it doesn’t. The dealer compensated fairly. But I can’t help but worry to death about what else is wrong after reading all the threads on here about missing parts and quality problems. I also just discovered that the 23s don’t have the beautiful shifter with the logo - instead it’s been moved to a stalk on the column.
im already disappointed and the damn car isn’t even here yet. If I had known all this BS was going on I would not have purchased this.

I think it looks hideous and ruins the look of the console.

Seems you didn't do enough, or any, research on the car? You don't even have it yet and are pissed? How can that be a smart purchase?? And then you say 'don't buy a 2023 car?'
Whoh man.....whoh.

Apparently Mercedes listened to people who complained their hand hurt while using the touch pad and that they needed a more comfortable surface to support their weak wrist. Nowadays there are people who want an iPad on wheels instead of a car.

I did my research. But none of these changes were published in the MB order guide. Or any other source for that matter. Even the sales people are surprised - they don’t know their products either. But read the threads on here about quality problems and missing parts. It’s happening- but not widely known. No other source but here really. So given what’s been published here - what do YOU think about the 2023s?
I myself am not in the market for a 2023 MB so i have no other input.

I do apologize for my assuming and jumping the gun/making assumptions. That is really frustrating and asinine on the dealers behalf. I guess they can basically tell you anything and pass the buck. SOrry you're going through it.

If you are that unhappy with the car, don’t spent your money on it and get a refund. Look for previous year or move on to something more suitable for you.

Personally the new face-lifted models are more streamlined and aerodynamic, less muscular looking than the previous cars. Looks are always subjective, personally I like the old nose a little better. The stalk shifter I don’t like either, but the hand/wrist rest does make it much easier to manipulate the Infotainment thru the touch pad while driving. Overall it’s a great car, and I’m glad I made the purchase.

Really too early to tell, still working on the 1000 mi break-in period in comfort mode The suspension is supposed to be one of the biggest improvements, with more valving and better programming. Thought this video was pretty fair:
I’m glad I spent the money on the carbon ceramic brakes! Well worth it, they look great and stop the car with little effort.

Yes the CCB is a no brainer! Like you said looks nice and without brake dust is just icing on the cake.
