Any 48 V battery failure issue on GT43 / GT53?

I'm checking out the 2022 / 2023 GT43 / GT53 with the 48V EQ system and wondering if the infamous "48V battery drain / failure" issue is affecting them as well. Thanks.

I’ve been wondering this also. Nice looking car but I don’t want any drama.

It looks like the GT's weren't affected, especially considering AMG's aren't made in the same factory as other mercedes benz'.

I had the 48v replaced on my 2021 GT53. I never was left stranded so I don't think it's the same issue as the other models are experiencing. I'd get a check engine light that would come on seemingly once a week and then it would turn off after a day. The error code was like "hybrid battery depleted".....this was on one of the scanners at Autozone. Car still drove fine...

I finally brought it to the dealer and they had never seen that error code before....they made a call into MB in Germany and they said to replace the 48v battery. Even after replacing, the CEL light seemingly still came on once a week. I finally sold it and went back to BMW (M8 GC). Pretty much done with Mercedes.....I just feel BMW builds a better car. This was precisely why I didn't go for a GT63....
