I dont have the video in my possesion. no worries it will be up on youtube. The specs say it all. the e 55 is much quicker than the clk 550. the only answer here is that the e 55 isnt runing at full power. i checked all the numbers before we raced and i knew he would take off on me. but that wasnt the case. i was assuming that the weigh difference(which isnt much about 300 pounds) would help.
So does this mean that you now believe the OP's story is plausible? If so, shouldn't you apologize for calling him a liar?
bought my used e55 two weeks ago decided to take it out for some fun when I bumped into a clk550 with exhaust never ran one before went from a dig to 100 put about 4-5 lengths then from 60 roll till about 130 it was ugly about 5-6 lengths the guy was a sore loser about it

You sound like a dude in my area that drives an 02 camry, that think he beats my clk550 every time i pull by him, he doesn't get it that i am just cruising while he is flooring it. lmaof... and then he puts his hazards on thats when i die laughing. Can't wait to see him post on toyota forums saying how he smoked a clk550.

OK, so let me get this straight: the OP posts a kill story. You call him a liar based upon your experience, but what you seem to be saying now is that when you called him a liar you didn't know about IC pump issues, etc. that can slow those puppies down...and that now that you know this to be true, you believe that your win was probably due to this or some other mitigating factor?

I guess we should all post up our kills on here(I didnt bother lol)not worth wasting space and time,but I have a funny story too.
On my way to work this young teen pulls up next to me at a light with his friends in the car,light tunrs green and I baby it and he punches it.I just laughed and went on my merry way.
bout 5 min later we line up again and there looking at me and laughing,mind you I have brand new drag radials on and just threw on a 180 pulley,H/E and tune.
I said you know what I dont give a **** if I get arrested today,traction off M1 and light turns green.I got to like 130 before he even figured out what the heck just happened lol.
