TOW IT TO THE DEALER AND GET A FULL DIAGNOSIS OF THE ENTIRE CAR!!! There may not even be a problem with the battery or the alternator. It could be something entirely different!!
A couple of questions: When you were a kid, how long was the bus you rode to school? Have you ever been tested for ADD or ADHD?

No, but I did take a lot of ADD medication when I was in Europe last year. My buddy has a script so I tried it. It didn't help at all so maybe I don't have it.
The only thing ADD medication did was allow me to drink everyone in every country under the table, Every time.
I took E.S.L. in elementary school, is that the same thing?
I'm just anxious and excited about getting this car fixed.

Yes, ESL and ADD are closely related. Perhaps you were taking your buddy's ESL medication, which definitely reduces the effects of heavy drinking and magically allows you to start speaking different languages. I bet your friends were wondering WTF!!!
Depending on the medication you were were taking, it could take 30 days or more for it to start being effective. You should go to a psychiatrist for a proper diagnosis and a proper prescription. Maybe he can also convince you to stop throwing good money after bad with your wreck....and allow somebody who knows what they're doing to diagnosis all of the issues with your car.

I took the ESL medication everyday for nearly four months. So it should have had time to kick in.
Luckily, We had a car that were solid red and said "CD" on them, so no one minded that we threw fruits and vegetables at them when they didn't get out of our way on the autobahn.

So, coming back on topic... (though the insight to your medication gives us all a great understanding of your mindset..)
How about just a end of day report on what you did/found out about 'Cedes' ... because at this stage, it feels like we really are on a journey to rebuild the Pantheon... I think the Greeks may have built that in a more efficient timeframe actually.

I bought a new alternator from Partsgeek.com. It should be here by this Friday. I'll be able to get that car electrically functional this coming weekend. If that does not work I will get it towed and diagnosed as Goosedan and Dave(and many others) have suggested.
I also traveled to Teslas birthplace to learn the mysteries of Electricity.
Awesome, don't get me wrong, I and many many others want to see you succeed and have a great S at the end of it all...
And that pic is of the hood ornament that you're installing tommorrow? :p or the new gear stick... either works I guess.

Btw, I Don't take any medication, I don't drink, nor do drugs. The stint I did for 4 months in Europe was because it was a once in a lifetime event. I had to live it up, and my best friend happened to have double of his medication.

Would it be possible to bring the accessory battery back to the place of purchase for testing and charging?
I don't have documentation on at what voltage the battery light is triggered, and I assume the battery controller will prevent the alternator from trying to charge the battery at less than a 10% state of charge. The 11.24 volts is very discharged but could still possibly be charged by an AGM charger.
Deep discharges of greater than 80% can affect battery life. Check the manufacturing date on the battery as well, sometimes AGM batteries can sit a long time, if they are left in a deep discharged state, they end up damaged (sulfated). There are some trick methods to try and de-sulafte a battery but you can also make them explode, which is very much not good due to the acid and lead.
Do a few searches for german/indy mechanics in your area. Call them and ask if they have a Mercedes STAR/DAS computer. Ask how much it wouldd be for them to just scan the car. I know 3 Indy shops in Minnesota with the computer. One of them it would be free, One is 20 bucks, other is 40 bucks.
You have been told the two most important things you need to do (scan the car with STAR, and hit the rack) several times per page for over 40 pages at this point.
What HAVE you actually done that you have had suggested to you? You ask questions than ignore the responses. Thank god you have thick skin as the humor at your expense is the only reason people haven't walked away. I almost can not believe this thread is real at this point. I think it takes actual effort to make this poor of decisions in your situation.
Option 2, take the car to vlad, pull out the mb engine, tranny and al computer modules. Swap in a small block chevy engine and th350 tranny. Cut the back half of the "Cedes" off and affix a truck bed camper in place of the back portion of the car. I'm sure you and the Eastern Block comrades can "hammer" the remaining body to contour correctly. On an upside, you will have a place for your family to reside after your resources are depleted. Also, with that Drivetrain, you can more cost effectively throw parts at it and get a favorable result.
Here is the end vision I have (although being a benz platform, it will be a more appropriate match for your favorite Armani attire....)

How is it that both the 9 year old battery and the Fresh one both read 11.24v? Maybe it has something to do with the alternator?
Like I mentioned before, if this alternator does not work(which it will) then I will get the car scanned. Which I was already planned to do once I don't have to tow the car. My main goal it to get it drive worthy, and not have to tow it unless Absolutely necessary(like from Copart). I've had enough bad experience where my 'Cedes would not come off the flatbed and nearly became more Jacked up then it already is. I'm not risking that again.
I will ask if Costless Auto parts will charge the battery. I did not check the new battery voltage before install, nor do I believe it sat so long that it discharged as that is a high volume store.
I do believe, however, that the alternator is the reason the new and old battery both read 11.24v.

I've been reading to catch up...what's with Vlad's truck not working for a week? Does that mean it won't get put on a rack for another week? New steering wheel for a car that doesn't run properly??? A new $300 or so alternator for a problem that hasn't been fully diagnosed? I was really hoping to see this car brought back to life and get some of the major body work questions answered. I didn't expect pristine work, but passable quality with Vlad's rack work and a mallet. Let's just get the car fixed and running again. Listen to some of the guys offering you good advice and follow through. Otherwise, everyone is wasting their time checking in on your progress or lack thereof. Why would anyone give money to your GoFundMe account if they saw this lack of direction???

KNB, most of this is entertainment. The car will get fixed where my family will feel and be safe being in the 'Cedes. The rear end will be indistinguishable from one without a crash. The electrical issues will be fixed.
I listened to the advice members gave buy a new Accessory battery. I got it. They said, Get a new starter battery. I got it. After that didn't work($400 later) and I was suggested to get it scanned, I thought before I do that, I'm going to go with what my Mercedes manual tells me to do when that icon comes on and change the alternator. If it was an issue with the battery it would say "charge battery" or "battery cannot be charged".
