VR C450 Quarter Mile Times
Hello everyone,
I guess this will act as my introduction as well since its my first post.
I recently bought my first ever Mercedes which happens to be a 16 C450. I was a long time BMW enthusiast and owner, got a good deal on this Mercedes and decided to pull the trigger and try the "other side."
I am very happy with this car, it is fully loaded except no pano roof and no interior lighting package, has every other possible option. I have it for a little over 3 weeks now and have already installed the VR tune and planning on exhaust and some more goodies this summer.
I was able to take to the drag strip near me and ran some numbers.
I ran a 12.8, launching at about 1900rpm. Keep in mind this was done with only VR tune and 100 octane gas. it was 70-74 degrees today, clear skies and sunny.
I love the tune so far, i want to launch it at higher rpm and im sure i can get to 12.5, but im not sure its safe. If anyone can chime in on that.

Those are really good numbers for just a tune and no launch control, i was a little disappointed that the car didn't have LC, but i got over it
I'm taking mine to the 1/4 mile on april 29th when the dragstrip opens, i will share my time here, car is stock.
