2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 Cabriolet, 2014 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S
Bought a new to me CLS550
2013 CPO Mercedes-Benz CLS550, white with tan interior.
God I love this car. It is so good I think it has spoiled other cars for me (certainly the Lexus my wife and I own which doesn't even come close to how good this car is). It seems to do everything well. Excellent brakes, excellent chassis, ride is comfortably, quiet, smooth yet it is sporty, responsive and fast. I may sell my Ducati and get rid of the Lexus just to buy another one.

Great looking car! Congrats! Now it's time to do some mods...
Congrats,
Last month, My lady also picked one 2012 diamond white with Blk leather double white stitches, loaded with AMG package, blind spot, lane change, etc... CPO as well. Just turns 28k this morning. I couldn't believe how fast it is when you're shifting as paddle style shifting On interstate.... Will find excuses to take this cls550 for a spin more often.
My old cls500 isn't close to this twin turbo cls550. It's a fun car
Congrats, the car is gorgeous. I may end up in one myself within the year. I'm on the fence between the cls550 cpo, s550 cpo, or brand new Jaguar XF. I do prefer the Benzs tho.
NTwillie1,
I have both from cls500 to cls550 and W221 S550 (had 2).
It depends on what you're using them for.
I'm 5'08" mid build finding cls550 a bit tight.
S550 is perfect for me but isn't fun to drive as cls550 ✌️

I'm 5'11" and I find the CLS quite comfortable. Back seats are cramped and a bit more difficult to get in and out of but once back there I fit fine as long as the seat in front of me isn't all the way back.
We were also looking at a CPO S550 but it isn't as sporty or fun to drive. Very nice car though and much roomier.
We have a 2014 Lexus ES350 we're leasing which is coming up soon so we have to make a decision on that car. Do we buy it or give it back and get something else. It is a comfortable car, much bigger than the CLS inside but it isn't nearly as fun to drive (not even close). Might give it back and possibly get an SUV to replace it. Looking at the RX350 or X5 maybe even the GLE350/400.
I am 5'8" also and consider myself mid build, 190 pounds, I find the CLS very comfortable. If you find the CLS a bit tight, you are probably a bit bigger than 190 pounds.

The new RX350 has to be one of the ugliest SUV on the market right now.
185lbs 5'08"
I'm only comparing between cls550 vs S550.
It's a little tight for me due to what I have on my waist as requires for my career.
I've tried to adjust several ways with driver seat power options. It doesn't work well with me/for me.
It's just me with IMO.
No doubt, it's a nice car. Isn't why we bought them?
I only get to drive hers Cls550 on Sunday mornings ✌️
My 2006 cls500 Lorinser package seating is more comfortable for me comparing to the current cls550 (again, my experience ONLY). I guess I'm used to my old driver seat.
I am just sharing my own experiences.
Again, I'm not here to bash something that I'm gladly enjoy.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciAte it. I like the cls550 for the sportiness of it. I like the s550 for the space and look. Whatever I get I'm getting just to get myself something nice and not necessarily for a specific duty. I have been in my Odyssey since 2012 and it feels like a prison sentence. I liked it at first but grew tired of it quickly. I'm still going to own it so if I need a car w extra space I will have it. I am leaning towards the CLS550 more and more, plus my wife says I'm not an old man (late 30s) and that the S550 is an old mans car, lol.
I am 5'10 in height and big boned, lol. I drive my 350z just fine so I would assume the CLS550 would be much larger than that. I sat in one recently and felt ok but it was only for about 5 min. I will be sure to take one for a long test drive one I do buy to make sure it's comfy. Thanks again guys.
