Youll love the C63 more you drive it. No regrets, it was the right choice.

I'm a long time lurker and recently turned to the dark side after owning BMWs for the last 20 years. Never thought I would do it, but I love what Mercedes is doing lately with their cars, and the C63 Coupe has won my heart. Many thanks to the members on this board for your numerous posts and classy enthusiasm! (It's a nice change from in-fighting in some of the other German car forums that I have visited for several years.)
Anyway, I have a deposit (and PO) on a Selenite Grey C63 Coupe with a build date of early September. Can't wait for delivery!! I wasn't able to secure a C63 S version without having to wait at least several more months so I "settled" for the standard C63. The C63 will be my daily driver and I will NEVER track the car. My guess is that I will never make full use of the C63 performance and that a C63S would just be overkill anyway. Still, it's bothering me that I will not have the S version. Any thoughts on whether I will be losing out from an overall driving experience standpoint by sticking with the standard coupe rather than waiting for the S? Again, this will be a daily driver, no tracking.
Many thanks!

I think the only time you may feel short changed is on the track.
Otherwise it should sound, and drive the same.
To make up for the power deficit, I'm looking at a Vaeth Tune
520PS / 720Nm or 580PS for under 3k Euros.
All this depends on if I want more than the base power output of 477PS

The "standard" model is still an excellent car. Wait a couple more months for Brabus, Renntech, and Weistec to develop theit tunes and your car will be faster than stock S models. You made a great decision so don't regret it. I'll be happy to assist you in the future when you're ready for the power bump
Give me a holler once you place an order. I've got you taken care of

^^^^ Looks awesome in any colour !!!
Being black I would seriously consider wrapping it to protect the duco, ie. if your keeping it long term...
Also love the numeric plates (I'm into that as well) I have a set of Melbourne signature series plates put away to eventually put on one of these
