Mercedes-AMG C63S Coupe in Selenite Grey (PICS)
Pretty funny comment from mine during the week that they have an Ed.1 on display at MB Fashion week down in Sydney for people who generally speaking couldn't care less, yet people who have actually ordered one and put money down are still left waiting in the dark.
I partly understand why they roll these cars out like his to build the excitement and demand I guess, but it's starting to get a bit stupid when think of the above point and you still can't get a confirmed date on anything eg: launch, demos etc.
All indicators point at June but does anyone know which week?
I'm currently at MB World and seen the C63 in brilliant blue with AMG night pkg
Fallen in love with it so my order has changed.

Pictures just don't do it justice as I said before right Uga? Although I'm just not sure about those 19" rims, but to each their own, a fine choice mate
£2500 for the forged rims is beyond what I would accept as reasonable.
Cleaning them is also a factor. Real pain they are.
Sorry for confusion.
@ Trim. Yes you have to see it. I was told the Driving Experience car is still going through
it's break-in phase otherwise I would have had a go on track, instead I got a passenger ride in the standard C63 saloon.
I must say, without the sports exhaust, the biturbo really lacks the NA's wild nature.
Sports exhaust is a must in order to avoid disappointment.
So sorry to leave the SELENITE camp.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Spec. cars, I found the code on the MB Germany website and added it to my order
Anyone interested its code U02,
however the chap I spoke with at MB world said it should become
available in the UK shortly.
I also like the LED lights which illuminate in the outside door handle recess when you unlock the car.

Shame, anyway, good to know that its being prepped, look forward to heading down there for the track day after I pick mine up.
Agreed, if you're not getting the perf. exhaust, might as well not get car at all.
To each their own! this car looks great in every available colour so at the end of the day no-one's at a loss really
Trim might well get one, obviously he may have got a HUD allocated when his dealer locked the build.
Trim - is your car spec locked yet? I have roughly the same delivery date (2nd August) My spec gets locked mid June.

Not sure where your from RHRAUS but not long to go now, they should start appearing in Vic Melbourne dealerships from sometime in July onwards.
I do know of a Melbourne dealership that has had one "hidden away" for months now but they were not allowed to bring it out for reasons of official release dates, there are also a couple at Phillip Island race track ATM for anyone interested

In all honesty, the Brilliant Blue did not sit well with me, especially combined with the night pack.
Two very strong colours. Brilliant Blue is nice but I have my doubts whether I can keep it for as long as intend having this car.
So I'm back. Hooray.

So...moral of the story, I'm in the same boat as you right now, just a slightly cheaper boat

Clearly my favorite color is blue, but as I've aged over the years, my preferences have changed quite a bit. When I was in my late teens and 20's, I had no problem driving a bright blue car -- but nowadays, I've been much more drawn to neutral colors, especially dark silvers/greys. I feel they show the lines of cars better, particularly with the Coupe, without shouting "look at me".
Selenite Grey allows you to fly a bit more under the radar, but should I feel the need for some attention (as if the Coupe wouldn't draw enough attention), just press the loud button on the performance exhaust and put your foot in it!

Yes battling is the word. MB have got to look at this issue of limited and very restricted
Colour choice. Designo graphite would suit this car to a tee
Good luck with choosing your preferred colour.
