Somewhat related - I mean no hijack at all - once you have the cluster out, does anyone know how much more is required to remove the entire upper dash area above the glovebox? I'm considering a little project to cover the plastic upper dash in Alcantara to match the shift boot and steering wheel, but KNOW that more often than not, once you take apart a dash they are never the same again (rttles, clips not fitting back in place, trim misaligned, etc). Looking for anyone who has done it successfully, thanks.

So I'm pissed... How hard of a job will this be to do myself? Gonna take a little more than just shaking it out of there. This is going to drive me crazy

No eggs yet, taking it to the shop this week to pull the cluster out. At least it's somewhere I could see it and catch it right away. Rather than it just happening without me knowing

And what is with the coffee mug looking sign on your cluster.
The spider found its way out thankfully, but now I'm left with the web till I I get the chance to open it up.
The coffee cup if the symbol for the lane tracking assist, if you swerve over the white or yellow lines the steering wheel vibrates and the car beeps to keep you awake
