Has anyone had interest in getting a c63 cover from coverking
At the time they don't have the specs for a c63 coupe
They asked me to bring in my car to their shop in Cali to obtain the specs, but unfortunately I live in DC
I just picked up an oem Mercedes car cover for the w204 coupe. Part number is BQ6600093. Fits perfect and I found a hell of a deal on ebay for a used one ($100 shipped).
It's a Noah car cover. Has a felt material on the inside to help protect the paint. If you can't find it on eBay, oediscountparts.com has it for $185 new. Just take off the B when doing a parts search.
Nice score on the OEM piece from E-bay. None were in stock when i bought my car last year. I ended up going with California Car Cover. I have had good luck with their product in the past, and i selected the same NOAH fabric. Very pleased. Forgot what i payed though
I've always been worried about whether or not the felt will scratch the paint after putting it on.
I reckon if the car has even any grime on it, it'll scratch?
I wouldn't put a car cover on if I had any grime on the car. Best practice would be to wash car first and then cover. At the least use a quick detailing spray if car is dirty and then cover.
