I've been reading through this thread and noticed different setups for the W204.
I installed a set with the following specs for a 2013 C250 Sport:
19x8.0 ET45 235/35/19
19x9.0 ET45 265/30/19
The problem is that the tire rubs with the fender when entering driveways or some dips in the highway (only one in the car). I've seen 275 rear tires with no problem.
Any suggestions? Thanks
Is your car lowered? Where is it rubbing on the fender i.e Top, Sides?
Thanks to this thread for helping me with wheel and tire sizing. I want to share the setup I used to help my father update his 09 c300 4matic. Ended up buying a set of second hand 2014 CLS550 AMG 18" wheels:
Fitment is spot on IMO. Lots of posts about the 8.5+34.5 FRONT being too aggressive and rubbing, but with these tire sizes and stock ride height, it drives fine and no rubbing even under full load. It would look a bit better lower, but it is the old man's DD so I want to keep stock drivability.
im currently running 245/30/20 with 8,5 all around. ET 45 infront and 38 in the back. Ive lowered my car 25-30mm with h&r springs, now my car is rubbing. Ive fixed the rubbing issue by rollig the fender (i know not the best idea but i love my rims) but my car still rubs in the wheel arch linnear in the wheel housing. So sadly i need to get down in size, going with 8,5x19 ET 42 all around, do you think this would fix my rubbing issue, considering the ET infront is a bit lower than before? Im gonna run with a bit of tire stretch.
I just got a c300 2012 came with 20" on wheels with 225/30/20 on 4 of em.
Now i have one tire need to replace . So im thinking to get the right size on widht for the front n the rear ones . So can u guys tell me ur idea whats the good spec or offset ,

This is what is for sale near me and I'd like to know if this offset will work on my 2008 C230 4matic. If the offset will work, will a 255 be too wide on the rear?
OEM Merecedes rims off a new E550. wrapped in Yokohama YK58 near-new rubber.235/40R18 fronts and rears 255/35R18 with offsets ET45 and ET48.
Any help would be very much appreciated as I need to act fast on the wheels.
I don't want to deal with poke or stretch or any of that nonsense.
car is stock, no drop and will stay that way. I just want 18" staggered wheels to replace the 17" on there.
How's it going everyone. This is my first post here.
Just looking for your thoughts/suggestions on 3 piece Weds Wheels that I just picked up online.
Front - 18x8 +43
Rear - 18x9 + 38
Will this work? And what tires would be recommended.
I am not lowered at the moment. Possibly in the future with H&R.
These offsets seem so high when compared to my past show car. I had a 350z that was running 19x12 rear wheels with +0.
You have to remember that most of these guys are being conservative. There are guys on here running offsets in the 20's range and also x10 in the rear. You'll just have to run stretched tires. Personally I plan on running 19x8.5 +30 and 19x9.5 +22 soon. I would need a 215/40/19 and a 225/40/19.

Hope this helps.
That gives me an idea, thank you.
I was hoping to avoid stretching but based on some of the examples I have seen, I feel the rears might have to be.

What style 19's are you going to get?
You could roll the fenders/pull to run less stretch, but I didn't want to roll fenders on a nice new car and run the risk of paint chipping near the fender wells. It is long, but when you have down time scroll through all the pages in this thread. I got a solid idea of different fitments from it.
I'm looking to run Work CR Kai Ultimate Kiwami's or Work VS-KF I think. I'm still debating. I miss my CR Kai's from my old RSX.

That would look good, make sure to post it up here when you get those!
Here's my past project.
And to get back on topic, these are the wheels I picked up for the W204.

I got a C350 coupe 2013. I was looking to buy some new wheels (I have the 18" staggered AMG option now). I found some that I really like, the speces for them are 18x8.5 ET45 for the front and 18x9.5 ET 45 for the rear.
I will run OEM Tires (staggered obvsly) as I just bought the car and they are brand new.
From what I read here, maybe it will rub or maybe not right? I don't want any rub in any situation, bumps or 4 people in the car. Are these wheels specs too tight?
There's quite a few guys in the forum that have ran +45 and been just fine, if I remember right there's a couple with super sports springs and been just fine as well.
I'm looking into the same poke on mine. Thinking of running 18x9.5 all the way around. In your picture are you lowered at all? If so, what are you on coils or springs?
