Ohhh i see! its Michelin Pilot Super Sport too.. sorry for my ignorance. I really thought the car is using run flat tires.. am currently driving c400 with 19s run flat and just purchase the c63s. hmmm whats the best tire inflation i find it hard. its always 39/39 right now.

Can't do that as like you said (if you have to keep stock wheels) 255 are largest on front so to keep ratio from factory- 275 rear.
If you go to 285 rear your are ok with rim width but ratio is off some and I don't know if that is a big deal. Your speedo will be 2.3% off
I guess the only way to tell is to take it to a track and see how it works as on street should be no problem.

I see many people in the forum have 285 at the rear, so meaning most of them have off ratios, I wonder if they run into any issues other then potentially scrubbing the inside corners.

Yep wasnt sure if its too big for the rears but the end result is great. Think a wide 285 35 would do the trick too but the front needs to be 265/35 to match the height of the 285.
Overall pretty happy with the grip. Recommended to anyone looking at a better match for our c63s.

Parked next to an F80 M3 at the tyre shop, even it had wider tyres then our factory ones.
I will get a 10.5" wheel once I find something but this setup is fine for now and looks insane from behind.
I love these factory cross-spokes so hope I can source them in the 19x10.5".
If anyone can help out it would be much appreciated.

Thanks SBH, not sure why Mercedes didn't put a larger setup on the rear.

It is not the correct tire/rim combo even though you can get by with it not rubbing.
the rim pulls the tire in too far and tread is not flat.
a 295/30/19 should have a 10.5 in wide rim and no smaller than 10. It is actually 1.1% smaller in diameter so no problem there but you should get a 10.5 inch rim and maybe a off set change.
The fronts should go no larger than a 255/35 19 on the stock 8.5 inch rim as the 265 should have a 9.5 inch rim and no smaller than 9
245/35/19=807 revs per mile--dia=25.8
265/35/19=790--dia=26.3
285/35/19=774--dia=26.9
295/30/19=799--dia=26.0

Outside diameter is only one aspect and arguably not the most important one. Of course the speedo is set to the 26.3 in diameter and other sizes will not show correctly.
The width is more important as having a narrow rim and large tire pulls the tire in too far at the bead and the tread is not flat on road. And going to a 30 aspect ratio is a harder ride. Go to the tire rack charts and they will show you the best rims width for any tire you want--they show the acceptable range and preferred width.

So 295/30 fits our car, but it bulges out with our stock 9.5, not the most ideal visually. I asked around some big name wheel companies, none recommended this set up. I am puzzled

the grip from 295 is so much better than the 265. Im sure You wont care about the little bulge

having 295 certainly does not change the handling at all.

running 42 in the front and 44psi on the rears, used to have 36 front and 38 rear but the handling went too bumpy so had to pump them up. Now the car handles the same as when I had factory michelins in their 38psi.
Wearing seems to be quite even. I drive fairly hard on normal roads anyway plus a few trips a week to my golf club via hilly windy roads so the tyres get quite a bit beat on them.
to anyone whos concerned about 295 at the back they should really go for the 265/285 setup. The increase in grip is worth of any doubts.

I've been running factory pressures up until yesterday.
I drove down to the Gold Coast yesterday changed to your recommended pressures and it's a totally different ride now.
Driving round the coast and the trip home on the highway the C63S felt light and agile, brought an unexpected smile to my face.
Factory pressures was way to soft even in Sports +.
