Maybe there is an error in the Mercedes ordering platform used in the US? All 43 Coupes have been built in Germany but I haven't heard of a single Canadian buyer that has had this issue. It could be poor coding that isn't flagging automatic mirrors when the option is selected for spec'ing a build.
No retrofitting, can't be done...I just talked to my SA, he said my P3 package was changed to Q3 somewhere along the way, which is $150 less and excludes the power folding mirrors. This was due to a shortage on supplies, and he did not realize the change along the way to give me a heads up.
He is going to reach out to MB on Monday to see if they can give me some extra cash back or something. My other option was give the car back and wait 4 or so something for a few one. Still pretty pissed and I don't want my damn mirror to be knocked off (I live in the city and park on roads quite often).
I've gone into Comand and to Vehicle Settings and there is no Automatio Mirror Folding option? I also don't see a button on the cluster, amongst the million buttons.

I assume you included either the Premium 2 or 3 packages in your build, right? I don't recall seeing you mentioning it earlier.
sorry ... see you addressed my question as I was typing it. Seems to me that MB accepted your cash for a build they didn't complete as spec'd ... better be more than $150 back in your pocket for this 'internal decision'.

Inhart, I thought you were in Canada. I did not know we have the P1, P2, P3 package here. We just have a Premium and and Premium Plus package, and the power folding mirror is standard on the C43 from MBC. Can you explain a a bit more in detail how exactly did you order the car?

Well for myself, I checked that the power mirrors comes with base car. Do you suggest following up with my SA to make sure it is there? Seeing few missing their power mirrors I did ask my SA, but he blew me off saying that Mercedes Canada does not make mistakes like that, haha. Did not know what to say.

I have already changed my color once. My SA was not too happy about it but he did it. If I ask again, he is going to give me back my deposit.

Our dealer got in a demo C43 sedan that we got to drive today. They also got in 2 coupes but they were sold so we didn't get to drive those.
Also, while we were there, we heard some guy had just tested the airbags in a C63 during a test drive. Its about 55 degrees here and on cold tires, the guy floored it and put it into a guard rail.
Can anyone confirm that these cars come standard with a painted rear spoiler, and that the only reason there would be an extra cost for a rear spoiler is if you choose it in carbon fiber? Thanks.
It finally arrived! It was at the dealership Wednesday, but i was busy. So, i took delivery yesterday and now its finally home.

Everything came as ordered (premium 3, night package, performance exhaust, parking package, sunroof, designo saddle brown interior), and the dealership honored the deal I worked out with the sales manager who had quit by the time my car was released from the VPC.

Of course it was raining when I brought this home on Thursday, so finally had the chance to get out and clean things up for a few photos...

congratulations! I'm glad people are starting to get their c43's. Its been quite a wait from order to delivery for these cars. I placed my order and deposit back in February, and was pushed back due to the c450-43 rebadging... But, i'm sure we're all grinning now...

yes, my original order was for a c450 back in February but it didn't make the cut off... then the rebadging... and theeeen the vpc/epa.... hahaha!
Don't know about you guys, but I've failed miserably at the soft break in. I'd estimate I'm spending about 75% in Comfort following the rules, 25% in Sport Plus running it pretty hard in spurts. I've definitely redlined it on some occasions once she was warm...thing is damn quick.

And the quickness seems effortless. Haven't red lined it yet but, just a little pressure on the gas at 50 and 95 came up quickly. Fun quickly.
