What did you do to the tail light lenses? Wrap them with a boarder?

 

Better late than never. My (then) new 2011 E550 on the day I brought it home.



Looks about right parked there.

My spec list was so specific (options list was two pages) that there were only two vehicles in inventory in the US. We were too slow to get the one in Chicago, so this one had to be reshipped from California to Michigan. Long wait, but worth it.

 

Gorgeous house. IMHO it deserves something much more special than E (not clear of car was bought new in 2011 or used just now). Or it already has one, or two or even three very special cars?

Wookii, are your tail lights tinted with film or paint? And is there somewhere we can get that pre-cut? lol

 

I diy tinted the rear signal and reverse section using film. Super easy as long as you trace/cut carefully. I did the same for the yellow highbeams. Just don't go too wild tinting everything lol.

Tip: Trace using a somewhat fat pen/marker. Then cut slightly smaller. It'll still look great, and you won't have to deal with overhang from cutting too large. Spray the area with soapy water or window cleaner. Apply the tint, adjust, squeegee out the soap using a credit card.

 

Just sold our X5 and bought this wagon... Love everything about it so far. Had to "sport it up" a little with the wheels.

It's for sale (house, not car). I'd throw in the 10" Meade telescope, too.

I got the car new, and built the house over a 10 year period. Over 100 guys (and some gals) worked on it to make it what it is. Gotta let it go, though.

 

 

Car looks real good, are you lowered ? Does 255/35/19 rub at all in the front ?

 

Stock height. No rubbing.

 

Anyone thats curious how factory 17s look with a drop. 19s will be going on Monday

 

im sure the 19s would look stunning on your car mate. Imo, Id be happy with those stock 17s. Though spacers front and rear and some tyre shine wont hurt.
