Been on the hunt for a decent everyday set of wheels. I plan on buying some 3 piece wheels down the road, but I stumbled on these brand new Rotiform TMB 18x8.5 +35 squared. They also come with new tires for a crackhead of a price. The tires are 215/40/18. Is anyone running specs near this? I know I have to run spacers in the rear since they are not 18x9.5 and will look awkward if I don't.
Also I am lowered on H+R Super Sports with 5mm pads
Well I would think so, hence the reason they are priced as so.
Maybe someone else knows better :s
They are priced all over used for 900+. I don't really know the story behind this set, but he had them listed for $850. I lowballed $700 and he said yes.
I wouldn't consider rubbing at any time winning lol. I guess it all depends on the roads you have in your location and the look you want to accomplish.
I've been considering changing up my wheels and have also been looking at Rotiform wheels, they are pretty popular I haven't heard of anyone having any cracked rim issues. It looks like a good deal, and I like the wheels but tbh I don't think the H&R SS can deliver the drop needed to pull off the look completely. Just my opinion...maybe with some spacers like you mentioned.

That's what I'm thinking and why I was hoping some people with similar setups might chime in. I was going for more of the top of the tire to fender vs. slammed like my last few cars. I'm not trying to trash a 2014 Benz. Acura/Honda's are a different story.
Don't do it unless you plan on lowering your car on more than just springs. You'll poke a little in the front and the rears will be sunk without significant spacers. Also stretch and poke looks awful on a barely lowered car.
Go to www.aspiremotoring.com. They have great prices on rotiforms (I just ordered a set today) and you can get a setup that'll work for your needs.

Yeah I realized I didn't want to run a massive spacer in the rear. I used to work at a well known performance shop so I would order through them if I did. Nothing against aspire...they are a good shop as well.
