Diesel...loving your car and the wheels! Have you considered a roof spoiler?
Thank you , yes i have contemplated about it a lot and also whether to get a roof spoiler along with a high kick black trunk spoiler to accompany it. But i kinda like how the tinted rear window flows into the pano roof, it almost looks like one piece. And i didn't want to break that that look up. You think the roof spoiler will look good ?

A roof spoiler is always a must in my opinion. It's one of those mods that don't affect the integrity of our cars yet adds a sporty touch to it.
I don't think life has ever looked so good at 40+mpg!!!! I LOVE your car and what you did with it!!!
Thanks, i haven't visited a gas station in 8 months, it is a liberating feeling.
Nice to see another bluetec in our midst, welcome Dead Civic. Congrats on the new purchase, the W212 is in another class compared to the Passat. Eibachs will not lower your car much but they are a comfortable set up. Are you going with springs or coils ?
Very nice! I just tinted mine yesterday as well! What percentage did you use?
I always tint with some reflection to it.
Solar Guard, Quantium 19% Rear 28% front 2 doors
It is only reflective at certain angles and forecasts. at time you can see right through the tint. you can see the variations here.
Diesel #2 the Merc is pretty low in stock form my Passat is on Coilovers pretty low and it looks the same height as the Merc. the Eibach will be more then enough low for me.
I was planning to do 20% all around but got talked into 30% by the shop. I have mixed emotions about the results. I'll post photos when I get a chance and the car is washed
I have 20% rear and 35% fronts, but it's technically illegal to have tints in the front in my state :B
It's 27% in Colorado..... That said I'm in Minnesota where it is 50%. I keep my Colorado plates and driver's license which seems to limit issues with things like no front plate, etc (due to LEO's not necessarily knowing the regulations out of state).
I need to see it in a full blown daylight situation, but the 30% while a touch lighter than I had wanted is actually looking a lot better now that the moisture is fading from the tint.
On a different note, I needed a little personal time tonight so I headed to my buddies shop and finally got around to wrapping the door handles + side/window trim in black I am an amateur working with the stuff but it came out pretty damn good. I had no issue avoiding bubbles but found the most difficult part was actually trimming it once in place. (fear of scraping the paint with the blade). I'd give the job a 7-7.5/10. I definitely need something to treat the rubber door seals as they are greying a bit and distract from the look.
I still need to wrap the chrome around the DRL's and plasti dip the Meisterschaft exhaust tips. I'm adding a Carbon v style lip and the rear Carbon fender accents. I will probably sand the rear diffuser than wrap it along the spoiler and rear windshield spoiler and side mirrors in Gloss Carbon Fiber 3m vinyl (to keep costs down. Going with the real stuff on all of that is a bit cost prohibitive and the fitment of the OEM parts is spot on.
I will take some better photos once the car is washed an in the sun. I wish that I didn't have my winter wheels on right now and could see it on the 20's.
I've been debating selling my Misano's and picking up the Gold Rohana RXF5's as well. I'm a bit on the fence in regards to going that flashy and ditching the gunmetal. While I really like having the car blacked out, I really like having something that pops. I definitely am not a black wheel on blacked out car person.

Just picked her up last night. My first Benz. Even though I sold them from 2001-2002. So far loving it!

I just tinted my '14. I went with 20% 3M color stable all around and 70% 3M Crystalline on the entire windshield and sunroof. Very happy with the results. Will get some pictures up soon.
Traded in my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. So it's like night and day in comparison. Loved the Jeep, but I'm ready for something a little smoother.
I am going to start off tinting the windows. Still trying to figure out where to put my phone for navigation. I have a CD insert magnet phone holder but its a bit bulky and it gets in the way of the Volume knob. Not a deal breaker as I can use the volume controls on the steering wheel it's just when the passenger wants to turn the radio up or down.
