Things that I would drive, some new some used, if I was looking for some bang for my buck....
Mustang GT350/GT350R
Audi R8
Cadillac CTS-V (prior gen)
Maybe,maybe a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
and of course an E63.

It technically doesn't handle better due to the factory using GT tires and not R compound tires. The GT3 uses softer tires.

Maz, I tested back to back different iterations of Turbos and GT3s in Atlanta last Spring. For my driving style the lighter weight of the GT3 made the car much more responsive, and it was consistently quicker on the timing board, than the Turbo. I will say the GT3 tires did not inspire confidence. When sliding a corner I did not know when they were going to take a set, and worse yet, not uncommonly they would initially take a false set, then slide a bit more (kind of like Indycars "reds"). Our suggestion was that they should use a different tire going forward.
Having said the above, cars are very much like wine, inasmuch as we can differ in our opinions, and yet both of us are correct.

No love for the Alfa? It comes sometime in 2017 to the US.
Not sure if its a really good choice or a bad choice lol.
I go to Europe all the time but in the US it will be different :S

I think the Guilia is an awesome car. Not sure it's within 20K of a used late-ish model 911t, but it looks like they really pulled one out there.
And it sounds great! Though not sure I'd want to own an 80K Alfa that was out of warrenty...

Looking around just that site, there are plenty of late-model (2011-2013) black Turbo S's around to be had for under $100k. Hmmmm.....

Yeah that is a huge wheel gap...NEEDS 20's lol
I agree the biggest thing is that is doesn't come in manual...honestly that's one of the most important things and that kind of is a killer...
Plus first gen of a euro car is probably not a good idea...so tempting thoooooooooo
Also quadrifoglio means four leaf clover in italian, hence the badge. I don't mind it.
I like to joke around and call it the quattro formaggio
It's also fun to drive a car that 95% of the US population doesn't know exists.
Whats an alfa romero? lmao

The Alfa sounds amazing. And it sure looks like it will out handle or cars by a very healthy margin, and it has back seats and doors... but it is still the first year of an Italian car. Yeah, a bit gunshy. But the blue does look lovely!

yes agree seems like an amazing can , perhaps your hearing is impaired as it sounds nothing , zero , zip ,nada, nothing at all like a V8 to me , but I'm Australian and we love V8 noise
