Head Bolt Recommended Part List
So I finally succumbed to the head bolt issue. Lost most of my coolant into the cylinders which produced quite a bit of steam out of the exhaust.
Opened up the valve covers and voila, found a broken off bolt head with a magnet tool.
It looks like my oil is a little bit milky.
I have done a comprehensive search, however I have yet to find a complete list of recommended parts to change in this situation. There was one thread which mentioned in detail about replacing the bolts with the cylinder heads in situ.
There were some threads that recommended replacing all of the bearings if water has mixed into the oil, and there are some threads that suggest replacing the cam followers (or valve buckets if they are the same thing?) and a few other parts from the SLS.
I wanted to start a collective here for anyone else in my position that has just had this happen to them as an easy resource to gather a list of parts they need.
I am based in Hong Kong, and the MB dealer here has refused to accept any responsibility for this, so I must seek out a garage and help them order parts and provide work shop manuals.
If anyone has any advice on what parts to replace, a list of sorts and part numbers that would be most helpful.
Thank you.

Dayum. Sorry to hear that.
To update the parts list, you don't need the intake manifold gaskets, but you will need a 28mm crescent wrench to turn the cams to allow them to align into the camshaft timing tool. The cams are under a bit of tension since their pushing the valves to the longer the wrench, the better. I just used a standard craftsman and it did the trick.

Maybe shoot andrew a PM. He may have the parts list available. You'll need to change your oil a few times to flush out the coolant.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. Will contact Andrew.
Blackwidow, thanks will send you a PM now.
My car is a 2008 and has just reached 70,000KM which is approx 43,000 miles.
I have had disappearing coolant for the last few months, however the garage here said it was the coolant hoses that were leaking, then I blew a radiator so figured that was the only problem. Spoke too soon....
Im not sure I want to trust a local garage to take the cams out and replace the cam followers any more. After reading about using a star diagnosis to reset the timing and all of the special tools needed, it might be a bit risky.
Thanks again, and will keep you all updated on the progress. Curious to see what the bolts look like once they are all out
One thing I forgot to mention was that Zung Fu, our MB dealer in HK wanted to charge me HK$40,000, approx US$5200 to diagnose the engine first.

There are a few shops by Kowloon Bay that specializes in MBs. When I bring my car in for service at Porsche, I always see those shops across the street with heavily modded Benzs. I can't exactly recall the name of the shop but it's directly across the street of Porsche Service in Kowloon Bay.
Also, can try asking the Hong Kong AMG club members.

Have you seen this thread on R63 headbolt? He is a good resource to contact as he is almost done fixing his.

i just bought a 1/2 digital torque wrench for the heasdbolts

Ideally, you want to use a torque wrench in the middle of it's range. I used to use a 1/4 inch for valve adjustments on sport bikes for example. 1/2 inch might be kind of heavy for head bolts, but I don't know the wrench, (or the spec for that matter).. Might be fine.

Might as well reseal the intake manifold while apart. Replace crankcase vent valve, swap out injector o-rings. I'd also replace the camshaft hall sensor o-rings. Also not seeing a timing chain tensioner.
