Do these OEM painted wheels look good?

I would like to know your opinion on painting in gloss black the 18" 'AMG' wheels that come with the sport package. Do they look good with the foil? The grill (apart from MB logo), rear chrome strip, rear model lettering & logo, side mirrors, window chrome sills, side sills, chrome on door handles, and front lip were foiled in gloss black.

OEM 18" alloy wheels

Painted in gloss black

Special thanks to user MBNZBLKOUT as I used the wheels from his photo. I am bad at photoshop.

If you just paint over the gray it would look better IMO. Here's a picture of my black OEM 18" AMG wheels on my C450...

Your car definitely looks beautiful! I tried that edit on my car and it didn't seem too right IMO, maybe because of the black side sills, but it looks perfect on your car. Maybe I'd rather keep it in alloy silver than paint in black like your wheels.

Thank you! I like your black side sills and they also looks good even without the AMG rear bumper flics. Are your sills painted or vinyl covered?

I may be tempted now to install the black AMG side sill extensions...$1,000 plus labor is a lot of money though!

No problem! Thanks, I have a C200 and don't want to mimic an AMG when I don't have one in the first place, and actually did the side sills before knowing they are on AMGs. Side sills in black give the car some more character than it already has. Everything explained in my previous post is vinyl wrapped in gloss black, highly recommended as they look exactly like OEM parts minus the extremely expensive charge. I did all the parts for $400, and read a post on this forum from someone in the US who vinyl-wrapped parts for a similar price.

I paid $150 to have both side blades wrapped. I ended up doing the trunk blade myself. $23 worth of stuff.

I paid $400 for the grill (apart from MB logo), rear chrome strip, rear model lettering & logo, side mirrors, window chrome sills, side sills, chrome on door handles, and front lip. Apparently best wrap in the market (German brand). Price includes 2 year warranty.
