Yah it looks nice but the interior looked like a CLA knock off...
I don't what Peter is doing...
BTW... my steering wheel vibration
was caused by = ****ty roads of CA
on the smooth road it drives normal.
But just in case
I did a wheel balance tough.
Thank god no bent wheels...

I need to see it in person. Not digging that big swell in the center dash. Seats look good though and materials overall. Yeah, a lot of Benz cues in there. The vents, the freestanding infotainment screen. I'm still gonna test drive one just for kicks.

Same, I'm just not sure if people are gonna buy it. People who normally buys a sport sedan will have some trouble getting over the fact that it's a Hyundai, even though the stereotype of Hyundais being miserable little ****boxes isn't true anymore. I know I belong in this camp even though I would totally push my friends to buy one.
And regular people who wants a nice family car won't want to spend the extra cash when a Sonata will do.

Kia Stinger if priced between $35k-40k
might get some people in but
from what I heard from a friend
who works for Kia...
Stinger will be priced at high 30k and goes up to
mid 50k range..
That's 5 series and high trim 3 series money.
I have to admit it will fail.
I will pick it up 1 year used and their values go
way down like the new K900.

Not always a bad thing. Back in 2005 I was in a leased Mazda Millienia, which to that point was the nicest car I'd owned. It was coming off lease and I happened to read an article about what a disappointment the GTO was for Pontiac. The Mustang beat it in a head-to-head (no Camaro in production for that period.) GM was eating $5k in rebates.
The car wasn't a domestic GM, it was imported from Holden in Australia, where it was sold as their top line Monaro (at around $80,000 AU).
For 2005, to spike sales it got some new sheetmetal and the 400 HP 6.0 liter LS2 directly from the Vette, along with a Tremec 6 speed manual, loaded, leather, a Blaupunkt stereo. So I test drove one, and it was a great car. I bought it for $28k after incentives. Probably my single favorite car ever. Still makes me sad to see one on the road.
So maybe the Stinger is one of those odd orphan cars that don't get a lot of love but are an absolute blast to own and drive, and a bargain to boot. If I can get past a Pontiac emblem I can handle a Kia badge for a few years.

Something simple like the font used on my instrument cluster are one of the reasons why a Hyundai would depress me
the new genesis is pretty cool though ! I had buy it as a daily when I don't want attention at all

Not for me but Kia does offer a 7 year unlimited Km warranty and my partner who has the top of the line Optima GT pays a ridiculously low amount for servicing compared to what I do.
It also gets very good reviews when compared side by side
Don't forget that the Kia Optima GT comes with every standard. The downside is that the interior is very hard plastic, software user experience isn't great and obviously the badge.
Different strokes, but a $20k difference is not insignificant.

You may say that but his car hasn't been in the shop constantly last year getting:
Or needing to spend $1,600 to get the non run flats replaced after 3 blow outs and 3 tows leaving me without a vehicle for 48-72 hours.
The W205s problems are well documented. As offensive as the Kia badge is at least they don't ship vehicles that require constant repair.
- Burmester speakers crackling
- Doors creaking
- Driver seat creaking
- Acoustic glass installed
- Felt installed
- Door handle LEDs replaced
- Parking Assist failure
- Boot touch free closing failure
- Bluetooth failure
- Powerloss on corners and roundabouts

I drive a C250 after an Infiniti Q50. Our other car is a V6 KIA Cadenza.
I have to give credit to KIA for many reasons.
1- 5 years unlimited mileage warranty
2- Extremely cheap service
3- The car is problem free
I do love my Mercedes alot, but I cannot label Korean cars as crap at all.
