GLC - Selenite Grey or Black?
I got my order in on a MY18 GLC 350e, but as I see them allmost everyday, I can't decide weather to get the Selenite Grey (Which I have chosen on my order) or call the dealer and get black instead.. I know the Coupe looks awesome with Selenite Grey and Night Package (cant stand chrome) but I can't decide..
Anyone got pics of their GLC with AMG-line, Selenite Grey, Night Package on 20" multispoke rims?
Same goes for Black (With Night Package, overkill?)
Thanks lads!

I don't have photos yet of my ride as I am still at least 3 1/2 months out, but this is a decision I have somewhat agonized over. I am sticking with Selenite, but black looks better IMO and costs less. Now, there a lot of reasons why I chose grey: easier to maintain, summer sun will be more tolerable, spidering always happens to black, GLC will be exposed to weather 24/7 (the Z stays in the garage), I've had enough black cars that I've had my fill, I currently own a black car (and will continue to do so with the GLC), I need to keep my Raider's colors, and the grey looks very classy and understated. That last bit applies to the black as well.
Rihallix has a great example of the black but he has 21" wheels. I believe his photos are in both photo threads near the end.

Not a good pic, but selenite, night, 20" multi-spoke. I ordered it grey after backing out on white. Rihallix almost makes me wish I would have gone black, but living in Texas and being parked outside 'cause my E63 stays indoors, I went with the grey. Still nice when cleaned and waxed up.

Wow! That does indeed look sick! Def changed my mind a bit here. Will prolly go with Selenite as well. Not a big fan of the blacked out wheels, but dealer might be able to get the titaniums for me, even though I ordered the Night Package!
Thank you so much for this!

I'm on week two with my Black GLC43 and if I had a choice I would have went with Selenite. Not that one looks better than the other but Black is such a ***** to keep clean. The only good thing is that I won't be driving it much in the winter and I have a floor drain and hose bibb in my heated garage.

Good luck with getting the wheels changed. It would definitely be at the dealer level. I tried to get my seatblets changed from silver to black. No go. Wanted to get the burl wood instead of the linden wood. No go. Also asked for the titanium (or whatever its called) wheels instead of the blacked out wheels but, lo and behold, it came with black anyway. I didn't push it. Besides, as bad as these wheels dust and as **** as I am, the black has proved to be the best case scenario in the end.

I asked the dealer about this just after I test drove their 350. He said that it is not possible from the factory, but that they could ask a customer who didnt get the NP if he wanted the black out wheels. Its a long shot, but its worth it. After seeing one of MB's factories, I understand that they can't just change up stuff because of 1 order. I remember seeing a chassis come in on the belt (to put in the interior) and two arms just came down from the ceiling, grabbing all 4 doors and wheels. Guide told us they come back to this exact car some 12-14 hours later when everything was ready..
My current issues with my build (Even though build date is months ahead)
- I love the Night package on Selenite, except for blacked out wheels. And why isnt the exhaust pipes blacked out? (prolly blacked out on AMG, but due to taxes, I'm getting the 320hp hybrid instead)
- Selenite or Black (Selenite with NP, Black without NP, but tape lip and rear bumper and blacked out windows)
- No D-shape steering-wheel if ordered with heating
- No Carplay with Comand (MY18 as well)
- Ambient lightning isn't as nice as new E-class
- Winter rims looks awful, looking for decent looking from random make
- Would love it to have dif.lock like GLE and G-wagon, but I guess 4matic is good enough for horrible Norwegian winters
- Exceptional long queue for the hybrid
/end rant

I have the grey I think its a pretty awesome color between a dark grey and silver a great dirt color. I own a black jeep wrangler my foul weather car and black is a royal pain in the azz to keep clean!

Yeah I know black is hard to keep clean.. But I love detailing and having a clean car. Atleast that's what I say now

Still no regrets with my choice of black. That was an extra $1,000 to spend on options or money saved.
i see othe GLCs and I'm very happy with black. Sure it gets dirty easy - but most dealerships will wash your car for free making the decision easy unless you live a long way from your dealership.
still loving my 21 inch rims
Black!

Took the missus to the dealer today to try out the new E-class and decide on color/NP or not.
Selenite and night package it is! She thinks NP looks tacky on pics, but great irl. Also went with heated steering-wheel to get the circular-wheel. Cant wait!
TY for all the replies. Forums are great !

Torn decision
Thoughts? Mercedes has made it tough to get everything you want with preorder. I like the blackout, ust not the wheels that make you get for the blackout. I like the traditional multispoke wheels, but cant get them in 2024 with the blackout package. What do yall think of the new black wheels they are pushing? Also when the rotors begin to rust it show much more through the wheels. Probably much harder to clean. I probably still have time to change my mind one last time before goes into production mid Dec 23. Any thoughts? Sucks not be able to see in person all the color combinations in person. No 2024 on the lots hardly. I dont think have many to date. I see way more BMWS than these.

Thinking about doing a chrome delete after getting new one. Either a wrap and the chrome or taking chrome off sanding down and painting black. Has anyone ever done that? Back looks great but i already have a black S class. Am selling off older model gle grey in selenite grey. Grey has served very well, but the new exterior are tempting like emerald green
