Ok, I have what may be a really stupid question. Where the HELL do you buy MB accessories for our cars?? As in if I go to Mercedes Me website and I click on accessories for my car and choose, say, all season floor mats or a license plate frame or a sunshade....
Why can't I buy these? Am I missing something? I don't get it.
PS Go easy on me with the responses, I am new around here!!
Those parts are now on the 2017 configurator site. It stands to reason they will soon be available at your dealer's parts department. In the meantime you can track them down on ebay or i think I saw them on oemercedesbenzparts.com.
I have a problem with ebay and I think I need to be talked off the ledge.
Full disclosure, I already ordered the side skirt inserts. I looked at the c63 OEM ones and there is actually a different skirt which has clips for the blades. But the lower body stuff I can't get out of my head. The carbon is a bit gauche, but I think they could work in gloss black.
I'm having the AMG side sill panels installed on my C450 this coming Thursday at my MB dealership, I'll make a separate post when I do...just received the parts yesterday!

Four actually. The two smallest pieces marked with "L" and "R" are just templates for drilling the holes needed for the blind rivets. So basically two long pieces for each side...the outer "finished" piece fastens to the inner piece riveted to the cars sill. Both pieces have strips of doubled sided 3M tape as well.
UNICORN!
After reading the install instructions I'm not surprised how rare they are. Those rivets are YUGE.
I've got a good feeling your car is going to look great.

Unicorn sighting for sure! The dealership I ordered these online from said they've never seen a set before...which I might add came to them first via Germany.
The dealership said it would take 2.5 hours to install, for a total of $350. They also said they would accept the MB online $100 off coupon for the "Spring Maintenance Event" special that ends May 31st...now the install total price drops to $250 which INCLUDES loaner car!
As for the price of these AMG side sill panels, they list for $1,100...I got them online from a dealership in NJ for $962 shipped.
The rivets just seem big, they're actually about 2.5" long. Here's a picture of them in respect to the side sills...
For a different perspective on your projects, consider my dream Mercedes. It's an AMG model with all the NON-AMG styling bits, Luxury grill and all. No, I'm not interested in surprising young dudes in stop light drags (even if they start it). We do have some Interstate on-ramps around here that can use all the power you got, but mostly, it's just my idea of the real thing.

In my opinion I don't feel these AMG side sill panels are "racer boy" at all, they just attenuate the side profile of the car (on a light colored vehicle like mine at least)...they're not even carbon fiber, gloss black like the trim around the windows on a C450.
If I were looking for racer boy bolt-ons, I'd go with the rear bumper flics, a bigger carbon fiber rear trunk spoiler, some sort of air dam in front, or a "Fast n' Furious" diffuser in back.

Looking forward to seeing how they look. Very tempted to add these to our white C43 coupe.

Me too! I dropped my car off yesterday at the dealership to have these installed, and I noticed one of my door handle LEDs had burnt out...so because they had to order the part, I was told to keep the loaner another night and pick up the car Friday...today!
I'll start my new thread & post pictures most likely this weekend.

Just got a quote back from our local MB dealer for these in the UK
Article number: A2056903004 £745.20
Labour to fit 3-4 hours £504.00 to £672.00
They'd also want the car overnight for the bonding to cure.
I think if I do go for these it won't be an MB dealer install!
I also want to get the apron flics, just can't believe how much MB charges for a piece of plastic. I don't think I will do an aftermarket though.
I bought a lip spoiler from eBay for $80 but now I am not sure if I want to put it on. Not sure if the finish seems too cheap maybe, too shiny? I haven't seen an MB lip spoiler to compare so...
I also Plasti dipped my rear and exhaust tips black (Night package look) to match my black wheels.
The grilles come out pretty easily. Pry straight out from the top, then the middle, then the whole piece lifts up.
Then you put the whole thing back because the peice doesn't fit unless it's double side taped on top of the oem grille. I really like the look but the fitment is definitely wonky. Everything lines up well, but I really think it needs to be screwed on. I'm going to have it professionally done.
Hello,
I still unable to remove the original grilles, kindly advise and any tools required?

MB dealer told me that the whole bumper should be taken out to frill the holes from the inside. They said its a 3 hours job. Does that make sense?
