so you going to go GT3RS and RS3 or just get a Hellcat Charger like Fairbird?
still not 100% sure yet since 3 of the cars i am looking at are not really out yet here (rs3, jeep trackhawk and w213 e63s) and the one that is out that i am interested in (991.2 turbo s) is one that i would wait at least a year since they should drop around $25K in the first year
rs3 has my fav engine (love audi 5cyl motors) but i need to get in one as i think it might be a bit crampt for my taste, so need to get in one before i can really know
the jeep trackhawk was something i never really expected to be built but now that it is coming to reality its really caught my attention- plus i can tow my jet skis and not have to have a separate junker vehicle just for that anymore

curious why you're selling... ? saw you liked the trackhawk and i agree awesome ride with AWD tons of power, plus more utility than the e63 since you can tow a rig of jetskis or snowmobiles or whatever and its a jeep so you wont cringe going over every pothole wondering if your AMG suspension just got whacked...

i know for sure i want awd and something that i can mod... i hope its the w213 as its really grown on me but i will sit the first 6-12 months out to see how tuning progresses on that one
and selling just because it seems 5 yrs of platform life and not much happened since 2013 when renntech was trapping 137 on their turbo kit and 130 on their tune yet today most of us are hitting 125-127 kinda tells me we are not gonna get much love/ progress until W212 get dirt cheap as that is when the W211 and W204 platform started making big strides and i usually get rid of my cars before they are 5 yrs old anyways so it seems W212 wasnt in the cards for me
if W213s really are beating huracan's off the line like we saw in the one vid circulating, then it might be everything i thought the W212 was gonna be so i will see... if not then it will most likely be one of the other 3 cars i mentioned before but its a waiting game to see if the Rs3 dual cluth trans can handle the iroz turbo kits power (same motor in ttrs, which weight about same, is already in 9s 1/4 and running 188 in 1/2 with off the shelf kit), or if the jeep trackhawk awd transfer case can handle pulley upgrades pushing it to ~900whp (it should with large forged chain but want to see first), or to see when the 991.2 turbo S drops to around 150K as i already know it will do what i want it to but if i get it i still need 2nd vehicle to tow jet skis and 150K is about as much as i can justify for car if i still have to have a 2nd one
You can technically tow two jet skis with a E63s lol
lol yeah i actually did it with my old audi b5 s4 for a while back in the day but dipping the rear-end in shin/knee deep water at launch ramp isnt something i would want do on a nicer car
i remember one time this a-hole in boat went by and created a wake that turned into a little wave by the time it got to the launch ramp and i was just getting the trailer hooked up and wave came and ended up soaking my trunk
GLWS!! Trackhawk FTW. It has the torque reserve system of the Demon, which should make for some knarley launches. Should be enough to make you forget all about the launch woes on the W212. Would not be surprise if you will be able to flash the transbrake function to it to, once HPT gets all the trans parameters from new builds added. I may end up with one too as the next car once the hype around them dies down.

thanks! and yeah the trq reserve/ variable rpm launch control is one of the things that really makes me want one.. well that plus the insane amount of power you can get out of those motors with simple mods or an "expensive" $6-7k whipple s/c for 1000-1200whp.... (i love how $6-7K is considered expensive mods on those motors ).... plus i love jeeps as i used to rebuild them w/my dad when i was a kid, but the new ones definitely arent cj's/ wagoneers
sold it finally! now waiting for 2018 audi RS3 and W213 E63 to come out and see which one I like better... in meantime I picked up this for DD/beach car (I work from home so no commute)
