Engine Oil:
7.39 Quarts of 0W-40 or 5W-40
7.39, not 7.5, not 8, unless you want a reduce engine oil level light…
Mobil1 Synthetic (Amazon for ~$23 per 5 Quart Jug)
Oil Filter:
MB A 278 180 00 09 (Amazon for ~$17)
Brake Fluid:
Approx. 2 Quarts of DOT4+ (Yes it's a MB thing...)
MB A 000 989 08 07 01 (Amazon for ~$22 per Liter)
Coolant:
Main Circuit – 15 Quarts
Low Temp Circuit – 7.7 Quarts
50/50 Mix Valvoline Zerex G-05 (Amazon for ~$13 per Gallon, you will need approx. 6 gallons for both circuits)
Transmission:
You will need about 10 Quarts total
-7.4 Quarts for the Transmission
-1 Quart for the Heat Exchanger
-1 Quart as excess over fill per filling procedure
Book calls for MB 236.25 ATF, or Shell TF DCT-F3 (impossible to find)
Ravenol DCT-F3 meets MB spec 236.25 (Amazon for ~$88 per 4 Liter)
Rear Axle:
About 4 Quarts
-3 Quarts in the transaxle assembly
-1 Quart in the heat exchanger
MB 236.26 Oil 001 989 87 03, or Shell Spirax S5 ATE 75W90
Looks like your best bet is to buy the fluid at MB

Did u ever get a price quote from dealer on first service.. I think its service A at 1 year?

But 120k of prepaid service is a good deal...good job!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I really doubt a properly broken-in engine is going to use that much oil; it’s just MB covvering their corporate butts.

I don't know if a scan tool will be needed to release the rear parking brake and/or calipers.
thanks!

I will say one thing the book calls for replacing the tank oil plug and i choose not to after going to the dealer and they telling me it was 15 dollars and i looked at it and was like this is silly. It is a plug with an o ring............
I can see replacing it at the dealer since they wont see the car after it leaves but I own my car so I can see if it is leaking oil hence i choose to reuse the plug. Now I did replace the oil pan copper ring on that drain plug.....

I can see why the manual says to replace it. The dealer does not see the car after it leaves so they dont want any leaks. I OWN the car so I know if it is leaking. The plug has nothing but an o ring that can wear out so I looked at the o ring and it was in good shape.
I just reused the plug.......
NOW I DID replace the copper seal on the plug for the OIL PAN since that is a one time use item.........
PS to remove the plug you need a metric allen socket. Also have the oil pan raised up a bit since when you remove the plug the oil gushes out big time.

I won't bother going to the dealer for the plug. I have new copper seal for the pan bolt. Appreciate it!
