C63 Build Advice?
I own a 2012 edition 1 C63 and I've been looking into investing into tune and some bolt ons for more power out of that legendary M156. I'm just not really sure where I should start, I'm currently in the process of getting the Eurocharged V6 tune and have just picked up some K and N filters, but I'm not sure where to go from there. Should I consider headers first? or a catless/race cat exhaust system? If anyone could share the stages they went through in their build along with power numbers achieved at those stages I'd really appreciate it. Just looking for help and advice on how to get more out of my car Any advice is appreciated!

Yeah I found a ton of information but I also found several threads where people bought parts they didn't enjoy and ended up selling and I'm sure by now a solid build plan has been developed by some of the more veteran members of good setups to run. I'm honestly just a bit overwhelmed by all the information on the forums and would like some advice on which brands to choose and where to start.

You also need to have some idea of where you want to go and what things are no go for you.
I did row airboxes (gives you a little more flow with the K and N's especially), the US airboxes are more restrictive and have a charcoal filter in them. V6 from eurocharged is a great tune choice. Exhaust is subjective, headers and race exhaust will make your car unbearably loud and all your neighbors will hate you - maybe you are good with that, for me I just wanted a little more sounds, went with a secondary cat delete, removes some restriction and sounds the same only more rumble at idle and 30% more sound when you are on it. Beyond that if you goal is to make power, you have to really start to look at a supercharger as the next stage and an LSD would be on my list if you don't have one already from the factory, coilovers maybe if you looking for a better stance and handling. All depends on what you want, power, noise, handling and how much budget.

Headers are extremely loud, if this is your weekend car, that should be great! If you dd your C63, You need a second thoughts of going full exhaust. A lot of people went with MBH long tube headers specially designed for C63.

^ That should be like 13th on your list if you're looking for performance. Sure looks pretty though.

roadkillrob appreciate the comment I'll definitely look into ROW airbuses, in terms of a route I'd like to be more focused on performance.

Yeah as great as the carbon fiber looks I'd really like to focus on performance modifications first. Feel like it'd be lame to have a car thats stock performance wise with just a ton of carbon fiber.

Ed,
Some members are all about 9 secs on the 1/4 mile and others are about big brakes, wider tires and handling. Looks like ur off to a good start with ROW air boxes, tune and filters. Moving forward,
If you wanna drag race: get a decent slick set up head to the drag strip & get ur base line. Power does nothing with out traction.
If you wanna track it: tires, a decent set of pads, upgrade your oil coolers(440 cooling)and suspension. We have powerful cars. Handling, cooling and braking is where you need to focus your spending. These engines tend to run very hot.
Have a long look around and take notice to what purpose ppl are modding there car for. After tunes and boxes....tires are almost always second.
Choose wisely.
