Love, love the Q16. The power.. The smell!
On our NA race car we make the same power using E85.
You know the cost difference.

Im half tempted to take you up on the deal to fly there just for the fun ..... i dont know bout eating my shoe though .... as an avid bodybuilder I spend alot of time sweating in those bad boys and so i dont think that would be all that good lmao .... i know the whole point.
Everything is installed and working without issues. Waiting on a new file to lean the mixture out a bit as I'm at 10:1 wot afr with the new injectors. 10am friday morning, will be the day!
glad to hear that Everything works ok,going to follow your rout when ec have the fuel lid ready! been thinking of the regulator do we need to attach the vacuum/pressure line? doesent that cause overfueling on our cars as we dont have such feature from start,i mean you get an extra 15psi fuelpressure when boosting (if your boost is 15psi) if its a linear 1:1 regulator.
Yea you need the boost port. The fuel rail gets starved because it doesn't supply that extra fuel that's needed (at a certain point), that's why the fpr is good. It can all be tuned in
IT WORKS
with Anthony lawshee (Tony), rsaxon1979 (Rob Saxon) and sosa (jermaine) as my witness.
Gained 25whp, and 25wtq on the same exact tune. Same iats, and only like 5 minutes after the last 93 pull.
Here's the dyno chart to prove it. (Dynojet)
Red = e85
Blue = 93
i will go back to the same dyno I used in Tampa when I get back home. As every dyno is different (we all know this) so I wanna see what the numbers are there, as I believe they will be higher. My car sees about 15-16psi of boost, this dyno read about 11-12psi. Fwiw.
And the tank had a very small amount of 93 in the tank I'm sure. Didn't test the content
Tony is truly an awesome dude. He even made me a "track tune" with added timing for track use.
Haven't put it on the car yet though.
He even adjusted the formula in the tune that equates how much mpg you get (on the dash) for larger injectors/fuel.
said I got 23.6mpg cruising at 70mph with e85.
Corn Sosas car looks clean enough to eat off of Rob's car, made great power also! Yaws car, dude is awesome. Met him briefly thanks to Tony. Came by while we were eating wings and having some beers to get rid of some codes in star for us. Thanks man! Craig's bay, the hydrodip looks great in person Yaws bay A pack of wild m113ks! Tony, Rob, sosa, and myself (beard) The girlfriend had a great time as well if you can't tell lol Tony cleaning up my fsp driveability issues, car is PERFECT now. Tony brought out Craig's car. Love this thing. Sounds beautiful with the cams in person
Awesome day!! And those Race IQ cams in that CLS sound fantastic!!
If anyone on here is debating on letting tony tune your car i can tell you that he is not only a super nice guy with exceptional customer service but his tuning skills are second to none. My car picked up almost 100 WHP and 75 FTLBS on the dyno from the mail order tune and the drivability is night and day difference. My car now with a fixed pulley drives better than stock and is very smooth with NO JERKING/bucking/stutter etc..
Yes Tony has completely solved all the fsp problems. Something I suggest having him tune out in person.
Kit is still working great. Glad I have it, couldn't find an e85 pump on my way home from Atlanta, had to put 93 in, but no problems! She's back on a tank of corn now.

This is exactly the reason we prefer flex! Thanks for all the updates
Any updates on running the flex fuel kit? I have been highly considering it, but I am concerned about the "box" 's ability to adjust fueling reliably and safely. Also considering running E85 without a flex fuel kit, but that could become a pain. We have plenty of E68ish here and I'm considering a tune for E60 for daily'ing and another tune for E85 for when I have access to pure E85. I don't see when I would ever really need to run 93 since E85 is so plentiful at the pumps now.
I have an E test kit and I intend to test the content at every fill-up.
