New 2017 C63S AMG Coupe
New member and took delivery of a 2017 C63S AMG Coupe via Eurodelivery in mid-May. I've been a BMW owner for the most part up to now, but recently added an AMG to the garage. Also have a 2016 BMW M3.
A few pictures below.

Here's a few of the BMW M3 after some decent modifications:
Vorsteiner VRF-102 20" Wheels
Vorsteiner GTS Front Lip
BMW M Performance CF Spoiler
BAVSOUND Stage 1 + Subwoofers
Dinan Intake, X-Pipe, Exhaust
Dinan Coil Over
Excited to get the mods started on the C63S as well.

Good lord what a pair! The word SEXY comes to mind; on both cars! Is that Austin yellow? I actually though that was a really nice color.......beautiful pictures, beautiful cars!

I currently have a '15 M3 and I'm doing a Euro Delivery for the 63 S late September. I started to have second thoughts on colors for my order, but now after seeing your obsidian black and black wheels, I'm keeping my order as is, the same as yours! Thanks for the pictures! Post more pics and what was your itinerary?

I dropped off my 2016 M4 competition in Dec for a 2017 C63S coupe- no looking back (in more ways than one LOL).

Since this thread is turning into M3 and M4 owners trading in for the c63, what are you going to miss most from your M3/M4? I do love my M3, gonna miss her. I'm also going to miss that the c63 doesn't have a shifter like the M3 does in the center console area.

The Mercedes gear shift is definitely lame. I think I'll miss the idrive and I'll definitely miss having 4 doors.

I agree i will miss the four doors a little and i do like the rear end of the M3 over the Merc. after my fors test drive of this car i do know that the M3 had a better turn in but in the long run i do not think i will notice it as much after i get a few hundred miles in the drivers seat. and yes the Idrive is a better system...some of the trade off..better sound better torque then the M I had a 6MT and found to get the most power from the M need to have everything off. the DC would have made it better but i do like changing gears myself.
The auto on the Merc is the only option so thats that. Upside no drop on boost betwen gears.

20yrs of always having a BMW. E90post long time member. Traded my BMW 335
Mercedes is stealing a ton of BMW enthusiasts no matter what the crowd on E90post says. I was getting an M4. Had a deal too but for whatever reason even after 2 test drives it wasn't really ringing my bell. After 20yrs I was not looking forward to the latest and greatest 3 series. I test drove the C63S once. Barely did 10 miles and I was sold. Cancelled my M4 and worked on a deal for the C63S. Retarded shifter and all. Love the car and would do it again. My buddy took a ride in mine and then couple weeks later he too couldn't resist the urge to trade his car for a C63S. And that's after telling me I was crazy for choosing the C63 with its infamous AMG depreciation and fact it costs more. Whatever, tomorrow is not promised, don't let small things prevent you enjoying what you really want in life.

Looked at the 718 Cayman, 911, Camaro ZL1, Mustang GT350 and M4 in addition to doing an ED on an M240. I can't justify the price vs performance increase on the M235/240 vs the M3/4 as you get 90% of the performance for 75% of the cost.
Fell in love with the C63S and had to get it even though I still have the M235. Wasn't willing to double my payments for any other car I looked at and was willing to give up European Delivery to have one. Wish MB figured out how to do European Delivery like BMW does

BMW EDs are really straightforward and don't require much effort on the dealerships end. When you combine the fact that it is easy for the dealer and BMW has an ED invoice price you can negotiate up from, BMW invoice leases are dirt cheap.
I really want to drive this car on the Autobahn but in the end it made more sense for me to get a 2017, make payments both on it and my BMW for 3 months than to do ED on a 2018.

The deals on the 2017's are much better than ED. They do ED but you only get 5% off MSRP. The dealer then gets 10% commission and the 2 dealers I talked to wouldn't budge on giving up any of the 10%.
