Offset rim question

I found some AMG rims I like, the question is the offset.
the rims are off a newer c63, 18x 8 front with et 45, 18x9 rear et54.
my car is a 05 e500, My stock et is 38
Question is will they fit? rub? stick out too much? if so spacers?
Someone on here must have tried this setup before.
Thanks

I have a '04 W211 E500 4-Matic Wagon/ Estate and have the 18" AMG offset rims on it. Both front and back tires are 245/40R 18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3's. The AMG rims on mine are the 8.5J on the front and 9.5J in the back.

These offset AMG rims look awesome on the wagon IMO and do not rub even with the air suspension compressed. That is confirmed because I'm presently replacing the air springs as needed on it

Since the front and back wheels are different widths and the tires are the same size, the sidewalls do sit a bit different on the wheels. Not sure if the wheel well "tubs" are any different on the Wagon vs the Sedan.

These are the style on my E500 stealth wagon...

A 245 is too skinny for a 9.5" wheel. You should be running a 275 on that.

That's the same thing I was going to say. On that same topic...will the 4matic system get pissed if you run a 245 on the front and a 275 on the back? I have a set of Mandrus Mannheim wheels that came with my car that are the same diameter but 8.5" on the front and 9.5" on the back.

I'd pose the offset question to the wheels and tires section. My guess would be being the C is smaller
The lugs my be to short, but I'm no expert. The Offse/ET for the W211 is a pretty good range like 32 - 48 So from those figures you shpuld be gud.
Here's the website to input information about offset and ETs

Oh well, I bought the car that way. Seems okay so far I had to look pretty hard to see the rear side wall sitting a bit different than on the front 8" wheel.

With only 15mm of clearance as it stands now, I would wonder if a 275/18 tire would clear the pinch weld where the quarter panel meets the wheel well/tub under full compression with a 9" wheel.

If I have time I'll post up some photos.

Had to edit this post. I pulled the rear wheels and found the left side had an 18' x 8" AMG rim and the right had a 18" x 9" AMG Rim. Not something you would normally check yourself before you buy a car but there it is. So now I guess I'll be looking for a 18" x 8 AMG rim so the rears match. Then I'll be able to do 4 tire rotations.

When I get the wheels back on I'll get a picture of that 18" x 9" rim on the right rear to show the clearance.
