$40k discount??
New 2017 GTS in my area at the local mercedes dealer in canada. cars fully loaded stickers at $193k dealer is offering it with 40k off before even me stepping into the dealer. I could probably get another 5k off if im serious and go in. I know the new ones are coming in soon but seems like a huge discount. with 40-45k off that would cover most of the cars depreciation. These cars wont drop under 100k around here i dont think.4-5year old SL63 arent even under 100k.
Good deal or naw?

Is it SolarBeam Yellow or Red? Those colors are harder to move for dealers, especially pre-facelift models. It becomes increasingly harder for dealers to sell pre-facelift models and that discount is not too unusual, it is a good deal if it's well specced.

If it's what you want get it.
I know that all factory stores got rid of all their inventory a while ago. In Toronto the dealers were offering 15k off and in the case of solar beam also a further 10k. If it's a GT only it's a rare bird and mostl likely why it's heavily discounted because rumor is there won't be any more coming in. Going forward I believe there will be only GTS, GTC and GTR coupes and respective roadsters. They have also changed the front end and bumped horsepower across the board. I'm not happy about it but it is what it is.
