What is the proper plug change interval for an E350 4matic? The guy I bought it from wants almost $500. The car has 60000 miles.

There are several DIY threads on changing the plugs. It's not hard at all.

Get the plugs from FCPEuro as they are having a sale. I just picked up mine from them.

He's got a 276 motor. Different plug, plug tool, and procedure as the plugs need to be clocked in the head, he needs this guy

He's in the wrong forum. For 2012, they went to a different engine that used direct injection. I think it's a 60 degree block instead of the 90 in the 272. Anyway for whatever reason, you have to take the intake manifold off in order to change the plugs so it's a lot more complex than the 272 engine. For the 272 engine, they're rather simple, I think mine were done in less than 20 minutes. That engine also went to a multispark system that fires up to 4 times per cycle so that 60k interval is also right.
