First mods to my E550 - Spoiler arrived and installed
Have been busy as hell and haven't had a chance to touch my car other than washing and vacuuming it. So tonight I ordered a rear deck lid spoiler, door armrest storage boxes and two door courtesy projector lights. Ordered everything off Amazon as I am still skeptical about EBay stuff. Will post pics once I install everything.

That is the hand grip. I like that hole. My wife keeps change and her nail clipper (gross) in that area on her Odyssey, which is filled in like this. Every time I shut her door crap flies everywhere. ha

I like that they are removable for cleaning. Got them more for the wife and kids who constantly have little small items (iPhones, headphones etc.) and never a place to put them.

Ebay is the nearly the same as Amazon, many sellers use both...have been using ebay since 2002, rarely have I had an issue, and it's generally my go to over amazon...last month I used Amazon, got a bogus tracking number and item never arrived.....had to get a refund, which went smooth

Awesome; funny they have a photo of a W204...lol.
I don't know if you have ever install a spoiler before but they can be tricky; a word of advice: if you are OCD like me, you'd want to have a second person assist. To make sure it's perfectly centered, and make sure both sides of adhesive receive the same amount of pressure simultaneously, and to make sure the curvature is ever so slightly manipulated.

The door armrest storage boxes came today. Very nice product. Even came with a small rubber mat that goes on the bottom of the box. They fit real snug, don't move around and look factory installed. Haven't had a chance to sit in the car and attempt to pull the door closed with them yet. Will post pics tonight.
On another note, I returned the defective door courtesy lights and ordered another pair, this time off eBay. Says I should see them the middle to end of July.

Pics as promised
Removable rubber insert, padded sides to minimize movement. Installation looks factory. I don't notice any difference sitting in the car and trying to shut the door. Easy to remove, highly recommended.

I think I'm going to get these. Especially for when I have the family in the car, I'd like to keep lighter compartment closed if we don't have drinks. As of now our phones usually sit in there which irks me. Great find and thx for sharing.

Pre-painted spoiler came in on Friday night. Just got around to installing it tonight. Installation was super easy. The 3M tape does not come pre-installed on the spoiler, you have to lay 2 strips yourself. Again super easy. Hardest damn part is getting the red protective tape off! I pulled approximately 2" off each end (4 total) and then lightly placed the spoiler in place. Once the side to side dimension was equal I pressed the center of the spoiler with my stomach while I peeled the tape and presssd down on the spoiler. Since the rear trunk is curved I was afraid the center was going to bulge out hence my holding it in place with my stomach. Honestly it didn't budge so the stomach thing was probably not needed. I continued the press firmly once all the protective tape was removed. Then a quick clean up of the finger prints and BOOM DONE. Sorry for the lousy iPhone photos. Just had the car detailed and have set up a place for my photo shoot.

That trunk spoiler makes my factory one look like a gnat. Nicely done!
