Bad tyre day

Having worn out my rear Michelin pss tyres I thought I'd go for a slight change for the few summer months. Instead of 285/30/20 pss I went with 285/30/20 cup 2's. I have KW has set at the lowest possible on the rears and they've never rubbed once. The cup 2's fit completely differently. They fit as if they're at least 305's. Rubbed on the small plastic trims on the rear arches non stop on the way home. I'm gonna have to play with the ride height to fix it but the rear springs have to come off the car for adjustment.
I changed the fronts from 255/30/30 pss to 265/30/20 ps4s and they seem to have a squarer side wall too. But no rubbing.

Are the cup 2 tyres the new square edge profile like the new PSS 4S? I've been advised the rear flick on the wheel arch has to go and the wheels I've had built were specified with the 4S tyre in mind. Hope you can fix it with a change of ride height although you could just bin this set of tyres, stick them on eBay and go back to PSS? Sounds expensive tho.

I've got my version of the grey estate on 20 inch rims and HAS kit just a couple of weeks away. The car has arrived down here in Melbourne, the wheels and HAS are on the way and installation hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

I took the plastic bit off my rear arches... Looks better without them!
