Is the W203 C Class steering wheel

plug and play on a 2003 W209 CLK500

I realize that I will also need the air bag

that goes with this wheel

I don't see why not. They pretty much use the same electronics. I have heard that even within the same chassis style, there are some wiring differences that may mean replacing the clockspring, too.

I love the shape of the wheel! But can't get over my gross dislike of those buttons on the wheel of the w203.
