highest miles e63 here?
what year is your car and how many miles do you have? any problems you had to get fixed (and at how many miles?) just curious
I have 21.5K miles on my 2014 but often feel guilty to drive due to the known depreciation curve should drive it more..

And for all of you guys wondering, i've had excessive oil consumption (topped off 10 liters in 3,000 miles). That has been fixed by a warranty piston change and some engine out work. Other than that, there was a timing belt (? Not a mechanic or knowledgeable about the name) rattle that was heard through exhaust that was taken care of. Engine was taken out twice. Oh, and something was wrong with the crankcase ventilation system, which caused leakage. Overall spent probably 2 months total in the shop

2012 E63 Wagon
90k
I only put 4000 miles on it since I bought it from another forum member this Spring, so still a E63 newbie, but I'm hoping it will be a solid car. Only issues were rear airbags leaking when cold, and now I get a brief Check Engine Coolant Level on startup that goes away quickly, but coolant level seems normal. Any ideas??

90k miles here. No issues, except a minimal oil leak that I could smell but it never dripped. Turned out to be a block plug and simple fix. Other than that it's been solid and my only expenses have been on routine maintenance.

32k miles on the wagon,
AC condenser leaked, gear oil cooler hoses leaked, fogged up LED headlights inside
everything was repaired or replaced under warranty.
Very little oil consumption so far.
Other than that, a rock solid car.
We love taking it on long drives.
For my taste a bit wobbly suspension in C mode when speeds exceed 140mph on long curvy Autobahn roads. I sometimes forget that the wagon is a heavy pig.
AT 33k miles, instrument cluster failed. I posted a short video in a separate thread. Car's been in the shop for 4 weeks now. Apparently, they can't get a replacement. Was given a brand new C-class wagon C180 to stay mobile. Words can't describe the difference.

Transmission valvebody solenoids
Cams
Lifters
Valvecover gaskets
Lambda's
Note: none of the things above really 'failed', it was more a case of preventative maintenance/modifications. The valvebody solenoids was probably the only thing that was actually starting to fail, along with the valve cover rubber seal. Lambda's were more for performance benefits and the cams n lifters were to upgrade to Kleemann items.
Been through a couple of sets of tyres all round, oem brake pads, discs skimmed...but yeah. I love this car.

142,000 on my 2010 e63
before i got it, it had the following replaced
pads/rotors
COMAND knob
intake manifold gasket
"loose pano roof bolt"
since i have had it (100k)
voltage regulator
battery
serpentine belt
engine mounts
sway bar end links
and regular maintenance.
BUT.
the car is not able to be driven at the moment. It wont go into gear. Thinking its the valve body/conductor plate, but i really am just taking guesses because i have no access to a STAR tool

2016 and almost 30K miles (48,000 km)
Had the transmission solenoids 2&3 replaced as per dealer! Was downshifting very hard from 4 to and from 3 to 2 when slowing down!
Gone since dealer took care of the issue!

2014 bought over a year ago at 23,000 miles. 35,000 miles so far and only issue was a leak from top of windshield which was fixed by the dealership. Car has been running tune with catless downpipes and exhaust going on 11 months with no issues and using the same spark plugs.

You really drive your car very nice. glad you're enjoying your car and that the problem is solved. I really need to take my car out more often.

Grocery, gym, movies, errands, work! Any excuse to drive it
I've always wanted one of these and now that I finally have one, not gonna let it sit in the garage! Drive it every day

2014 model, bought it a year ago cpo at 12,000mi, now at 20,000mi. It needed 0.5qt oil top off after 6,000mi. Otherwise no problems. Dunno how aggressive of a driver I am, but with mixed street/highway driving I can’t get above 17mpg.

2018 GLC 43 & 2014 SLK 350, gone 2016 E63 Wagon
I have a 2016 wagon currently with 30K miles (49K Km) and I drive it every day. The only issues I have had are: the air conditioning not cooling and the eco start/stop caused the engine to stall. The dealer replaced the AC condenser and for the eco start/stop issue they replaced the transmission auxiliary relay and the transmission auxiliary oil pump - all under warranty. Everything works great now.
